5/2 Update Summary for ASTRA: Knights of Veda

Introduction

This is a 5/2 Update Summary for the recent developer's note. The patch brings a new character, Aurora, a new game mode, Survival Arena, and a new season for both the Tower of Trials and the Weekly Journey. Additionally, several Knights of Veda are being rebalanced, bug fixes are being implemented, and quality of life improvements are being made.

New Character: Aurora

Aurora is a new 5-star Light-type ranged dealer who wields a large bow. Her Normal Attack has a chance to deal bonus damage and her skills allow her to dodge and deal AoE damage.

New Game Mode: Survival Arena

Survival Arena is a new 4-day-a-week game mode where up to 10 players battle to be the last Master of the Book standing. The arena shrinks over time and includes buffs and hiding spots. Players will earn rewards based on their placement and participation in missions.

Other New Content

• A new season for the Tower of Trials has begun, with new floors and challenges.
• A new Weekly Journey event is offering rewards for logging in daily.
• Birthday features have been added for Belle and other Knights of Veda.

Balance Changes

Several Knights of Veda are being rebalanced, including buffs to Xanthia, Albert, Atterisee, Lucian, Andrei, Yanko, Orlik, Leon, and Veleno.

Bug Fixes

A number of bugs have been fixed, including issues with damage scaling, party member movement, and visual glitches.

Quality of Life Improvements

Several quality of life improvements have been made, including the ability to see more World Missions on the main screen, improved rewards for completing the Journey in Memory, and easier relic management.

Takeaway

Overall I personally am happy with the direction of the update patches. My only complaint is that we already had a recent 5-star bow user banner released recently, not sure why the developers wanted to give us players another bow user banner.
