Black Beacon Best Team Compositions

Have you been struggling to figure out which characters work best together in Black Beacon? Building the right team can make all the difference between barely scraping through content and dominating it. Whether you're completely free-to-play or have invested in some premium characters, this guide will help you create synergistic teams that bring out the best in your roster.

F2P Dream Team

If you're playing Black Beacon without spending, you can still create a powerful team using only three and four-star characters. Here's the ideal F2P composition:

  • Asti: Your Swiss Army knife support character who can both buff your team and debuff enemies
  • Zero: A solid damage dealer for early game content with some support capabilities
  • Ninsar: Provides shields and tankiness early on, but can transform into a powerful DPS later in the game

What makes this team special is how their roles complement each other. Asti boosts your damage output while reducing enemy threats, Zero deals consistent damage with Asti's buffs amplifying her performance, and Ninsar keeps everyone alive with her shields.

The different elemental types in this team also create beneficial reactions that further boost your effectiveness.

Li Chi Focus

If you've been lucky enough to pull Li Chi, you've got the current meta's most powerful DPS character. However, he needs specific support to reach his full potential:

  • Li Chi: Top-tier main DPS who sacrifices his own health for incredible damage
  • Logos: Perfect healing partner who provides both healing and damage-over-time effects
  • Asti: Buffer extraordinaire to push Li Chi's damage even higher

Because Li Chi's kit revolves around draining his health to deal more damage, pairing him with a strong healer is absolutely necessary. Logos is ideal here, but if you don't have her, Asti can fill in with her DoT-based healing.

While Asti's healing over time actually outperforms Logos's in raw numbers, Logos brings additional damage to the table that Asti can't match.

Florence Focus

If RNG-god gives you Florence rather than Li Chi, don't worry! She's considered the second-best DPS in the game and forms the core of this strong team:

  • Florence: Main damage dealer with impressive output
  • Zero/Asti: Support to amplify Florence's already strong damage
  • Ninsar: Provides necessary survivability through shields and tankiness

Florence needs less babysitting than Li Chi but still benefits greatly from the right support characters. Zero or Asti can boost her damage output, while Ninsar ensures the team stays alive long enough to unleash Florence's full potential.

Ereshan Focus

If you've pulled Ereshan and want to maximize her unique capabilities against tough enemies, try this specialized team composition:

  • Ereshan: Main DPS who excels at handling elite enemies
  • Zero: Assist character who restores Vigor and provides ATK buffs
  • Viola: Breaker with powerful AoE attacks to clear weaker enemies

This team leverages Ereshan's strengths by following a specific rotation strategy. Start by having Ereshan cast her first skill three times, then switch to Zero to restore Ereshan's Vigor and gain an ATK buff. Next, switch to Viola to set up her area-of-effect attack to quickly eliminate non-elite enemies. Finally, bring Ereshan back into the fight to complete her combo and focus her damage on the tougher elite enemies.

However, do note that Ereshan becomes really good if you have 3-5 dupes and level 4 Breakthrough. So it does take a lot of resources to use make the best out of this team comp.

Shamash Focus

For players who have pulled Shamash, here's a team that maximizes his unique passive abilities:

  • Shamash: Main DPS with powerful passive activation mechanics
  • Viola: Breaker who synergizes well with Shamash's kit
  • Nanna: First Strike Breaker who helps fill the Combo gauge quickly

This team is built around filling the Combo gauge as quickly as possible to trigger Shamash's passive ability. What makes this composition especially powerful is that at Talent Level 4, Shamash can activate his passive twice in quick succession – first through the Combo Burst and then immediately after by using his first skill.

Anomaly Team

If you enjoy more complex mechanics, the Anomaly team offers a unique playstyle with explosive damage potential:

  • Hephae: Your core Anomaly unit (Fire element)
  • Ninsar: Shield provider and potential DPS when built right
  • Li Chi/Wushi: Thunder or Dark units with fast attack speed to compound Anomaly effects

The Anomaly team relies heavily on elemental interactions, particularly avoiding duplicate elements to trigger Overload effects. Since Hephae is fire-element, you'll need to choose other elements for your remaining characters.

The Thunder and Dark units like Li Chi or Wushi work especially well because their fast attack speed helps compound the Anomaly effects, creating a small window of extremely high damage output.

Team Building Fundamentals

When creating any team in Black Beacon, remember these core principles:

  1. Balance is key: Aim for a DPS, a healer, and a buffer in most team compositions
  2. Universal teammates:
    • Asti fits into virtually any team as a buffer
    • Logos or Asti can handle healing duties
    • Florence and Viola are flexible DPS options for most teams
  3. Special mentions:
    • Nana excels as an off-field sub-DPS paired with main damage dealers
    • Zero becomes increasingly valuable as you naturally accumulate duplicates through gameplay

Finding Your Perfect Team

The best team for you depends on which characters you've pulled and your preferred playstyle. Don't be afraid to experiment with different combinations to find what works for you. The synergies mentioned here are just starting points - there are countless interactions waiting to be discovered.

Remember that team building in Black Beacon isn't just about throwing your highest rarity characters together. Understanding how characters complement each other's strengths and compensate for weaknesses is the key to creating truly powerful teams.
