📢 Follow-up Notice on Repeated Fiend Hunter Daily Reward Exploit

Hello, this is BrownDust2.

First of all, we sincerely apologize once again for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the abnormal currency acquisition issue. Please see below for detailed updates regarding our additional measures.

1. Overview of Additional Actions Regarding Abnormal Currency Acquisition

Players who exploited the bug have been newly categorized according to the number of abusive actions (7 days, 30 days, or permanent bans).  
We would also like to address concerns regarding the creation and refining of high-grade gear as follows.

[Impact on High-Grade Gear Creation and Refining]

Regarding concerns about high-grade gear, a thorough review of play logs from Jan 1, 2024 to May 30, 2025 confirmed that no account used the abnormal resources to craft or reforge new SSS-grade gear or successfully refine any item to SSS or higher.  

Most abusers simply repeated daily reward claims. 
For a few accounts, there was no significant gear progression outside of normal means.  

Accounts with severe or repeated abuse have been permanently banned to protect gear balance, so there has been no substantive impact on overall high-tier gear acquisition within the game.

Sanctioned users are excluded from current season rankings for competitive content (Fiend Hunter, Mirror War, Demon Castle, etc.), and permanently banned users will also be removed from previous season rankings. 
This will be processed soon, and further notification will be provided after it’s complete.

This bug was first discovered (and fixed) in the March 2024 update, but it recurred recently and some users abused it. 
We issued sanctions according to our policies. Please refer to the following sections for details.

2. Reclassification of Sanctioned Accounts

For some accounts found to have repeated abusive actions, the sanction duration has now been revised. 
Earlier sanctioned accounts may now have their penalty updated to 30-day or permanent bans.  
Refer to the lists below for details:

Permanent Ban  
Criteria: More than 30 abuses, or abuse across 2 or more seasons  

30-Day Suspension  
Criteria: 11–30 abuses  

7-Day Suspension  
Criteria: 10 or fewer abuses  

Event Currency Recovery  
Event currency obtained through abuse will continue to be recovered by our NPC (Retrieval Agent Mr.LEE) each season.

3. Restoration & Compensation for Temporarily Restricted Accounts

Some accounts suspected of abuse were temporarily restricted for investigation. 
Those found not guilty have had their accounts restored.  

Accounts temporarily restricted but found not guilty of abuse will be compensated with all daily rewards missed during restriction; additional rewards based on event rank/level will also be distributed. 
As soon as rewards are finalized and sent, we will provide another notice.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by the temporary restrictions.

4. Apology Compensation

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concerns caused by this issue. 
As a token of apology, we have prepared the following compensation—please log in to claim it:

■ Claim Period: June 4, 2025 announcement ~ June 8, 2025 14:59 (UTC) (once per account)
■ Compensation: 10 Draw Tickets + 1,000 Free Diamonds + 1 Tear of Goddess + 120 Paid Cooked Rice + 120 Paid Torches + 72,000 Event Currency.
*Accounts that were subject to sanctions will not receive this compensation.
*Event currency is based on the Fiend Hunter level 15 daily reward and 30 days of possible rewards for a 30-day suspension.
