Skill Rundown
Reunion with the Night

Trigger: Any ally uses a concentrated fire skill
Using Zenith or Rigenette in this Hunt will cause the Fiend to barely take any damage. Don't use them!
Rippling Darkness

Trigger: Any ally receives healing
Using any skill that heals will cause this skill to trigger, killing most allies hit in the higher levels. In order to survive this attack, you either need to give an ally sufficient damage reduction or energy guard.
Roar of Sorrow

Trigger: Any ally is Augmented.
Augmented refers to buffs that increase specifically DMG dealt. Other kinds of buffs such as M/ATK buffs, property DMG buffs, and CDMG buffs do not count.
Triggering this ability will likely get most squishies that are hit killed, unless you have damage mitigation buffs on them.
Thorns of the Task

Abyssal Gaze

Pouring Malevolence
A team wipe! Your next team then takes the stage as the Fiend loops back to S1 and refreshes its conditional skills.
Hunting the Fiend
S1 → S2 → S3 (trigger C2 or C3 if you need extra time)
The Fiend offers no buffs, and all of its conditional skills have negative effects. The following effects will trigger the following skills:
- C1 - Concentrated Fire (Zenith/Rigenette)
- C2 - Healing
- C3 - Augmentation (DMG% buffs)
Do not trigger C1 unless you only intend on nuking once. You may trigger C2 or C3 for extra time, but only if you're ready for the massive hits.
DPS Review

Ventana — Sadly, without access to Zenith, Ventana's dead in the water.
Sacred Justia (×7 AoE) — Your best bet in the physical department, being able to hit 5 targets which is good enough for her.
Yuri (×3 AoE) — Yuri's self buffs are great, but her lackluster tile coverage may make her struggle.
Angelica (×3 AoE) — The odds are against Angelica, since she can't use Zenith to access the tail.
Michaela (×9 AoE) — All of the Fiend's negative effects are there to prop up Michaela, and the weak spots are perfect for Beachside Justice to spam into.
