Expedition 33 Difficulty Options

Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 features three fittingly named difficulty levels, and the best part is, you can switch between them anytime outside of battle through the gameplay settings menu.

Story – Enemies deal reduced damage, and the timing window for dodges and parries is much more forgiving. Perfect for players who want to focus solely on the story.
Expeditioner – This is the game's intended difficulty. Enemies deal normal damage, and dodge/parry timings are balanced. Mastering defensive mechanics is encouraged but not essential.
Expert – A true test of skill. Enemies hit harder, and you’ll need to master dodging and parrying to survive.
