Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss Floor 10 Guide for 3.0

Genshin Impact version 3.0 brings about a new set of enemies, bosses and artifacts which all adds up to the entire experience of having a new region that’s waiting to be explored. Fresh with its greeneries, odd creatures and cool mechanisms, Sumeru Region is truly an encounter.

Now, of course, it’s also about time to tweak some changes & add newer challenges in one of the features that has long been enjoyed by many, and a hot topic within the community. Yep, it’s none other than the Spiral Abyss.

Although, some may argue that it’s not enjoyable at all because as we know, it gets harder and harder as you progress through the floors and its chambers. Just pain & suffering, especially if you are in lower Adventure Rank (AR) with unbuilt characters and unleveled talents. But even if this is true, we still play it anyway!

Why is that?

Because through Spiral Abyss, you get to earn and access various rewards such as Mora, Primogems, four-star & five-star artifacts, and even a character from the lower floors! It’s also such a huge DPS-check sometimes at the later levels where the end-game players tend to test their builds and team-comps. It’s not easy, but it sure is rewarding when you get to finish even a single floor with nine stars.

Spiral Abyss resets every two weeks, and version 3.0 offers a lot of things and one of these is the newest element called Dendro. That’s why it is not a surprise to find newer enemies and bosses in this cycle to encourage its use while the players get to explore its elemental reactions as well.

Not sure how to take on the Spiral Abyss Floor 10 challenges? Continue reading for this guide will cover and include general tips and strategies per chamber and the obtainable rewards to help you!

Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss

Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss is a special domain that is in a single-player mode with several restrictions and rules. Obviously you cannot do this in Co-op mode, second, you cannot consume any food while inside the domain. Third, you cannot change your party members after choosing them as well as switching their weapons and artifacts.

Spiral Abyss is divided into two sections. Abyss Corridor which are floors 1-8 and the Abyssal Moon spire, the remaining floors 9-12.

Blessing of the Abyssal Moon

Blessing of the Abyssal Moon in Spiral Abyss changes every month, giving you and your party a variety of buffs which can help you clear all the floors. For this phase, the elemental reaction between Dendro and Electro called Quicken will benefit your team by decreasing the opponent’s DEF by 35%.

Quicken is triggered when you apply dendro to an enemy affected by electro or vice-versa. This elemental reaction deals no damage.

As shown above, Floor 10’s Ley Line Disorder will increase the damage done by elemental reactions called Spread and Aggravate when triggered. Basically from Quicken that was mentioned a while ago, when fused with Electro, it becomes Aggravate. It deals additional Electro damage with a multiplier based on your character’s Elemental Mastery.

On the other hand, Quicken when fused with Dendro becomes Spread. Likewise, it deals additional Dendro damage with a multiplier based on your character’s Elemental Mastery.

Some players would want to fully utilize this buff and choose characters equipping the recommended elements. However, not all players have built units so this still depends on your character availability, team comps and rotations.

Keep in Mind

Since Floor 10 is also part of Divergence, this means you have to take two Team Comps with up to four characters for each party. You cannot use the same character twice.

For your first team, if you want to follow the Ley line disorder, you can opt to choose your built Dendro characters. Tighnari and Collei are the only ones available as of date, but you can also choose Traveler for more free-to-play options.

Along with the dendro unit, you can choose electro characters such as Fischl, Razor, Lisa and Beidou. Bringing an anemo character like sucrose helps for crowd control. Hydro units like Barbara for healing, if you are not that confident enough with your dodging skills and Xingqiu.

For team two, it’s recommended to use a freeze team since enemies like Bathysmal vishaps really like to move around and continuously pounce on you. You can choose to bring Kaeya, Rosaria, Chongyun along with hydro units like Barbara and Xingqiu.

Or you can go with a pyro team, and choose Xiangliang, Bennett, Xingqiu and an anemo character. Shield user characters are also recommended like Zhongli and Ningguang, Xinyan or Thoma. The maiden mirror and electro cicin mage combo can really be annoying.

Note that these characters are just the standard go-to if you don’t have your built 5-star units and you can select them however you want to play. Just put in mind that for Spiral Abyss Floor 10, you’re gonna be dealing with lots of Electro shields, so you should be bringing characters with either Pyro or Cryo visions to save yourself some headache.

Floor 10 Chamber 1

Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss Floor 10

For the Spiral Abyss Floor 10 Chamber 1, you will need to defeat a total of 18 opponents for the first phase, 2 opponents for the second phase, and if your remaining time is longer than 300 seconds, you get a perfect 3 abyssal stars.

Your enemies for this half would consist of Winged Cryoshroom, Whirling Cryo Fungus, Whirling Electro Fungus, Floating Dendro Fungus and Electro Slimes. You will need to defeat Primordial Bathysmal Vsihaps for the second phase.

First Half

The First half is pretty straightforward, you should be attacking all the Whirling Fungi, and Winged Cryoshroom first because the slimes will follow you anyway. You can also use anemo characters with crowd control abilities to gather them in one place. Now, you can start working your way from there, dealing as much DPS as you can, finishing the challenge.

Second Half

The second half of Floor 10 chamber 1 will have you dealing with two Primordial Bathysmal Vishaps that keep landing Hydro DMG and AoE Hydro DMG through their attacks like the Spinning sweeps, Waterwheels & Spike Field.

You can attack one at a time or bring them to the sidelines, so you can work both of them at the same time. Freezing the vishaps also helps, so you can deal with them easier. Having shield user characters is also good because it keeps you from getting interrupted so much.

Floor 10 Chamber 2

Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss Floor 10

For the Spiral Abyss Floor 10 Chamber 2, you will need to defeat a total of 5 opponents for the first phase, 2 opponents for the second phase, and if your remaining time is longer than 300 seconds, you get a perfect 3 abyssal stars. Your enemies for this half would consist of Eremite crossbows, Kairagi: Dancing Thunder and Kairagi: Fiery Might. You’ll be dealing with Electro Abyss Mage and Thunderhelm Lawachurl for the second phase.

First Half
Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss Floor 10

For the First half of the Second chamber of Spiral Abyss Floor 10, defeating the ranged enemies Eremite Crossbows should be the first thing you should be doing, that way you can just focus on defeating the two Kairagis.

Also, keep in check your damage ratio between the two enemies, because when a Kairagi ally dies, the remaining Kairagi will get an increase of 50% max HP. To prevent this from happening and save yourself more time, you stand on one side and wait for the both of them to get to you. You can either nuke them both or immobilize them by freezing the Kairagis and then start dealing damage.

Second Half

In the Second half of Floor 10 chamber 2, dealing with the abyss mage first would be optimal so it doesn’t get too annoying, and you can just focus on defeating the much bigger and more powerful Thunderhelm Lawachurl. Or you can also wait for the Lawachurl’s first jump, stick close to it, and just wait for Abyss Mage to teleport in your location.

That way, you can deal and attack them at the same time, this greatly works if you have characters with AoE Elemental Burst DMG such as Xiangling. Her pyronado will be able to help take care of the two enemies’ Electro shields. Remember to bring cryo and pyro characters, this makes it easier to break their shields and move on to the third chamber.

Floor 10 Chamber 3

For the Spiral Abyss Floor 10 Chamber 3, you will need to defeat a total of 5 opponents for the first phase, 3 opponents for the second phase, and if your remaining time is longer than 420 seconds, you get a perfect 3 abyssal stars. Your enemies for this half would consist of Eremite Desert Clearwater, Eremite Daythunder, Eremite Sunfrost, Fatui Skirmisher – Hydrogunner Legionnaireand Fatui Skirmisher – Pyrogunslinger Bracer. You’ll be dealing with Mirror Maiden and Two Fatui Electro Cicin Mages for the second half..

First half

To make it easier for you to defeat this chamber half, head over first to the Fatui Hydrogunner because it will not only attack you which deals Hydro DMG, it will also keep healing its allies. This will only prolong the fight if you don’t deal with it first. Cryo attacks are very much effective on this opponent, and you can use Electro to break its shield. Other elemental types are useful as well such as pyro and even anemo when swirled with other elements.

Additionally, if you approach the Fatui Hydrogunner, the Eremite mobs will also follow you because they are usually seen and attack in groups. Now, use an anemo character for crowd control and gather them at once.

Just don’t forget to deal with the Pyrogunslinger that instead of coming to you, backs away at fight and shoots you at range. If you don’t kill it by then, its shield will be a tough nut to crack especially if you did not bring a Hydro character with you.

Second Half

Lastly, for the second half of the last chamber of Spiral Abyss floor 10, you will need to defeat the Mirror maiden and two Electro cicin mages. You can try to avoid the maiden’s AoE that’s indicated by a color blue circle around her which will increase your skill cooldown. Deal with the Electro mages first, avoid getting marked by the mirror maiden and get trapped in its Glass cage.

In here, your freeze comp will greatly help you to immobilize and deal with the enemies’ constant attacks, the cicin’s electro shield and the maiden’s teleport. You can also use an anemo character for crowd control to help you manage the Electro mage’s annoying cicins that will keep on charging at you.

Getting perfect Abyssal stars in Spiral Abyss takes time and work. Building your characters is not easy but it’s gonna be insane when they are getting unstoppable and dealing Damage-Per-Screenshot figures. Next thing you know, clearing all the abyss floors will be easy for you and your team! You don’t have to compete with anyone, just play and get the rewards! Keep on enjoying the game and pull for the characters that you want.
