How to Play Hulk in Mystic Mayhem

Hulk is a Defender who serves as the team’s frontline, absorbing damage and protecting allies. Just like in the comics and movies, his job is to SMASH. His kit revolves around leaping into enemies, knocking them back, and unleashing heavy AoE damage. Staying true to his character, Hulk also has a health regeneration skill that helps him remain in battle longer.

It’s best to position Hulk at the very front from the start. He will leap toward enemies as the battle begins, immediately placing himself on the frontlines to shield and protect his team.

His kit is straightforward: leap, smash, stun, debuff, heal, nothing too complex. That simplicity is part of what makes him top-tier. Hulk is easy to use, already powerful by default, and capable of carrying the team from early to late game.

His Shockwave skill applies a debuff that reduces the affected enemies' damage dealt by 20%. Make sure to target high-damage enemies with this skill to weaken their impact on your team. This skill deals huge AoE damage too, perfect to finish off a group of smaller enemies.

Use Fearsome Flip to deal decent damage and knock them back, creating space and protecting your teammates. This skill is also really useful to push enemies away from a regeneration or buff domain.

To maximize his damage and healing potential, it’s best to equip Hulk with Artifacts and Highlights that increase his Max HP, boosting both his survivability and effectiveness.

Best Team Composition

AoE Team

For game modes that require strong AoE skills and damage, such as Battle Bonanza or Fabled Finds against Lady Bullseye, this team composition works best.

Sleepwalker can serve as the healer, but what truly shines in this setup is his Ultimate. It delivers burst damage to all enemies on the battlefield, which is incredibly powerful.

All of Thor’s skills are AoE, with impressive range and damage. Iron Man is another hero with excellent AoE abilities. If you don't have Iron Man, Misty Knight is a solid alternative who can also perform well in AoE-focused scenarios.

General Content

Marvel Mystic Mayhem - Psylocke Portrait Icon
Marvel Mystic Mayhem - Scarlet Witch Portrait Icon

For general content such as Story Mode, Memento, or Treasure Hunt, these heroes are the best to pair with Hulk:

Doctor Strange is a well-rounded Controller who can consistently heal and buff Hulk, while Psylocke and Scarlet Witch serve as the main DPS, dealing heavy single-target damage to finish off enemies one by one.

Both Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch share the same Avengers Bond with Hulk, granting additional DEF, which greatly improves survivability.

Best Artifacts for Hulk

The best Artifacts for Hulk are the ones increasing his Max HP and Skill Damage:

Gungnir
Force Field Glove
Asgard Shield

While Hulk is classified as a Defender, his damaging skills deal strong AoE damage, which can be further enhanced with Gungnir, an Artifact that increases the wearer's skill damage by 30%. This is ideal if you're aiming to boost Hulk’s offensive power.

However, if you prefer to make Hulk even tankier, the best options are Force Field Glove and Asgard Shield. You can equip two Force Field Gloves to significantly increase his HP, which also boosts his Shockwave damage, or combine one with Asgard Shield for improved DEF.

Best Highlights for Hulk

These are the best Highlights for Hulk:

1. Blessing of Vishanti

The wearer's HP increases by 10%. After using their Ultimate Move, the wearer gains a Shield equal to 10% of their HP. While the Shield is active, the wearer deals 8% more DMG and takes 8% less DMG. This is the best Highlight option for Hulk, but it's a Legendary Highlight, making it exceptionally rare.

2. Monster Within

The wearer's HP increases by 16%. Enemies adjacent to the wearer deal 8% less DMG to them. This is Hulk's primary Highlight, increasing his Max HP for better survivability and skill damage, while also debuffing nearby enemies.

3. Stand Strong

The wearer's HP increases by 16%. For each ally near the wearer, they take 10% less DMG. This is similar to Monster Within but works best when paired with melee allies who fight close to Hulk, such as Moon Knight or Thor.
