mo.co Weapon Tier List

mo.co Weapon Meta Tier List

All the best mo.co Weapons ranked.

mo.co has recently launched globally, bringing an exciting monster-hunting experience to players. With multiple weapons available through the early levels and more to unlock as you progress, choosing which ones to level up can be overwhelming. This mo.co weapon tier list will help you decide which weapons deserve your time based on overall performance, game mode, and accessibility.

Currently, the meta is dominated by powerhouses like Speed Shot (Bow), Techno Fists, and Spin Sickle, but there are excellent options like Wolf Stick and Staff of Good Vibes that can perform effectively with the right gadget and passive combinations.

In this guide, I'll rank the best weapons in mo.co from S-tier to D-tier. Please note that while individual weapons are good, gadget combinations and your playstyle are just as important for success.

mo.co Weapon Tier List

Before we dive into ranking the weapons into different tiers, this is what every tier in our tier list means:

  • S Tier: Currently the best-performing weapons that do well in most of the modes.
  • A+ Tier: Nearly S-tier weapons that perform exceptionally well
  • A Tier: Weapons that perform very well in the right setups,
  • B Tier: Good weapons that can be effective with proper gadget combinations, but may be outshined by higher tiers .
  • C Tier: Situationally useful weapons
  • D Tier: Weapons with significant limitations that are generally outperformed by other options

Here's how all available weapons currently rank in mo.co:

Best Weapons in mo.co

Speedshot

Speedshot is currently the best single-target damage dealer in the game. It delivers incredibly high DPS against bosses and tough enemies. Its primary weakness is against groups of enemies, but this can be mitigated with the right gadgets. If you're going to focus on any weapon for Rift boss fights, Speed Shot should be your top priority.

Techno Fists

The Techno Fists are the most versatile weapon in the early game. These are the second weapons you will get in the game. Their strength comes from delivering a perfect mix of single-target and area-of-effect damage, all while keeping you at a safe distance. For new players progressing through the game, Techno Fists provide the most well-rounded option.

We recommend you to use Vitamin Shot, Monster Taser and, Pepper Spray as gadgets in the early game with Techno Fists.

Spinsickle

Spinsickle appears to be one of the strongest weapons in the game. It offers an excellent range for a melee weapon combined with high damage output. While many players haven't unlocked it yet, those who can access it should consider it an S-tier option. The only drawback to Spin Sickle is the heavy grind you will have to go through to reach level 29 to unlock it.

Squid Blades

In our last tier list we talked about how Squid Blades is nearly S-tier but well guess what after using it for a while, we definitely believe it's a S Tier weapon. It delivers tremendous damage output and requires more precise positioning than ranged alternatives.

A+ Tier Weapons

Buzz-Kill

Buzz-Kill combines melee combat with bee summoning capabilities. Every 4th attack summons a bee to fight alongside you (max 3), creating a hybrid combat style. The weapon offers both close-range area damage through swinging attacks and ranged single-target damage via summoned bees. Just shy of S-tier, Buzz Kill is highly effective in most content types.

A Tier Weapons

Wolf Stick

Wolf Stick offers a unique advantage by summoning a Wolf that acts as an additional tank. This makes it particularly effective for farming early worlds and bosses, where having an extra "body" to absorb damage can be invaluable.

While its AoE capabilities aren't as strong as Techno Fists and lack the necessary DPS, the added survivability from the pet companion makes it a solid choice for grinding early levels.

B Tier Weapons

  • Monster Slugger: It provides good AoE damage for clearing low-level content but is limited by its short range and high self-healing requirements. It becomes less effective in higher-tier content where ranged weapons have a significant advantage.
  • Staff of Good Vibes: The staff of Good Vibes is a support weapon in the game. While primarily designed for Rifts, its utility extends to general gameplay as well. In higher-tier maps where group play becomes necessary, having at least one player with Staff of Good Vibes can make a huge difference. The only reason we have ranked it in B is it's dependency on other players as a source or primary damage.

C Tier Weapons

  • CPU Bomb: It is AoE-focused with delayed explosions that feel awkward in the current meta. It suffers from low overall damage compared to alternatives, and there are better damage options available with the right gadget combinations on superior weapons.
  • Toothpick and Shield: Toothpick and Shield offer 25% damage reduction, making it viable in specific defensive scenarios. However, its low DPS output limits its usefulness in general content, positioning it firmly in the C tier.

D Tier Weapons

  • Portable Portal: This weapon features a gadget reactivation mechanic but has a low base damage that makes it feel unimpactful in a few game mode. It's difficult to justify using over other options, even with its special ability to reset gadget cooldowns.
  • Medicine Ball: It serves as a healing weapon with some melee damage capabilities. Unfortunately, it's outclassed by Staff of Good Vibes for healing and by virtually all other weapons for damage, making it difficult to recommend.

Conclusion

mo.co is still in its early days, and this tier list will change as players unlock more gadgets and passive and find new builds. The rankings presented here reflect the current understanding of weapon performance, but your personal experience may vary based on your playstyle and gadget combinations.

For new players, focusing on options like Techno Fists. As you progress and unlock higher tier weapons like Speed Shot or Spin Sickle, you can begin to tailor your loadout to specific activities like Rift boss hunting or high-level map clearing.

Remember that gadget combinations can significantly alter a weapon's effectiveness, so experiment with different setups to find what works best for your playstyle.
