Tower of Fantasy presents a unique world with futuristic facilities, giving you a glimpse of what it’s like to live in a sci-fi and fantasy environment. The game itself has plenty of things to offer, including compelling stories and a complete roster of exciting and well-thought-out characters to explore.

Simultaneously, encountering large enemies and terrifying bosses will become a big part of your life in the world of Aida. That said, it is necessary to keep your character strong and become adept at fighting.

Who is Tower of Fantasy Nemesis

Nemesis is the 5th Angel of Clemency who was transformed by Sage. Her recovery has been a long process and there is still a long way to go as she deals with the physical and mental trauma she experienced.

She is the current form of Shirli, Zeke's younger sister who suffered from an incurable mutation. She was created in Dr. Claire's laboratory, eventually becoming No. 5 of the Heirs of Aida's Angel of Clemency.

Nemesis and her weapon, Venus, are obtainable through the event "Rebirth of Clemency".

Venus

Venus is known to be one of the best support weapons in the game as it offers healing, on-field/off-field damage and slows that surprisingly works even against bosses. That said, she fills the role both as the sub-DPS and healer of the team. Nemesis has a low shatter value of 6.00 making it a waste of time if you want to use her as the shield breaker. She, however has a decent and average charge of 8.00.

With a volt weapon, you can make use of its passive, allowing you to paralyze your targets for a second, and electrify them for 6 seconds on your next attack after fully charging your weapon. This also negates buff and deal damage for up to 144% of ATK.

Volt Resonance

Aside from the massive healing Venus can offer, she has another thing in her kit which may convince you to pull for Nemesis. Having her in your team alongside another volt weapon introduces the Volt Resonance. Volt Resonance is beneficial to any volt weapon regardless of whether it is a DPS, defense, or a support weapon.

Volt resonance increases your Volt ATK by 15% and resistance to volt damage 25%. Currently, she is the only simulacrum having the volt resonance, which shouldn't be seen as an issue anyway as equipping two weapons having the resonance won't stack it.

Fortunately, there are six volt weapons of different types that you can choose from.

IconSimulacrum and Weapon Name

Samir and the Dual EM Stars (SSR - DPS)

Tower of Fantasy Nemesis Guide

Skills and discharge are the characters’ bread and butter, and their main source of damage. Skills that when chained together with another can take down any monster in sight. One can plainly use this skill in whatever way they want, but there are several ways how you can optimize her kit.

If you’re not an expert on Ruby’s kit, fret not as we can guide you along your journey. This section features her normal attacks, dodge attacks, weapon skills, and discharge skill.

Hold normal attack to charge a shot and release an electrified ball that explodes on hit, dealing damage equal to 118.4% of ATK + 6 to nearby enemies.

Twin Spinning Focus

Tap normal attack during the short perfect attack window to trigger a slowng magnetic field.
Venus fires a charged orb that travels forward a set distance and explodes in contact with targets. Deal damage equal to 171.6% of ATK + 9, and generate a slowing magnetic field for 3 seconds, which reduces the movement speed and attack speed of all enemies caught within by 35%.
Dodging will trigger a healing chain that heals nearby allies by 67.7% of the Wanderer's ATK; for the next 10 seconds, a small healing chain will trigger every 2 seconds, which heals nearby allies by 22.5% of the Wanderer's ATK. Dodging grants 1 stack of healing chain enhance, which increases the effects of healing chains by 25% (stacks up to 5 times) and lasts for 30 seconds. Switching weapons will cancel this effect.

Parallel Beams

Tap normal attack during the short perfect dodge window (tap a directional key while dodging) to trigger Parallel Beams.
Venus fires a pair of parallel energy beams, dealing piercing damage equal to 171.6% of ATK + 9.

Pulse Lock

Venus fires a guided missile that explodes on contact with enemy targets, dealing damage equal to 233.2% of ATK + 12 and knocking down targets.
Cooldown: 25 seconds.

Particle Beam Burst

When weapon charge is full or Phantasia is triggered, switching to this weapon from another weapon removes all debuffs from the wielder and commands Venus to fire a cross-shaped ray at the ground, creating an unstable area and reducing the target's movement speed by 70% for 5 seconds. After a brief delay, unleash an electromagnetic burst that deals damage equal to 393.9% of ATK + 21.
Using a discharge attack will spawn 1 Electrode near the enemy's position that attacks once every 1.5 seconds, dealing damage equal to 39.9% of ATK + 2.
The Electrode gains 100% of the Wanderer's stats, can be attacked or healed, and loses 3% of its max HP every second.

Only 1 Electrode can exist at any given time, and summoning a new Electrode will replace the previous one.

How to use Nemesis and Venus in Tower of Fantasy?

Indeed, Nemesis and her weapon, Venus is a versatile one. She can heal, and deploy volt damage on top of your main-DPS's damage without having the need to stay on field.

To know more about this Angel of Clemency, let us take a deeper look at her kit.

Nemesis' heal

First of all, Venus is a support dual pistol. Support weapons either tend to provide heals that restore your team's health including yours, or a shield that blocks incoming damage. As for Nemesis, she provides heals in an unusual manner. Cocoritter and Pepper deploy heals by their skills and discharge, while Nemesis does it differently.

Listed down below are her source of heals. This however varies depending on what you have (advancements, traits, matrices)

Dodge Skill

Nemesis' healing capability opens up each time you dodge. Fortunately, dodge only has a very short cooldown, which means that you can have access to her heals most of the time. Upon dodging, Nemesis creates a non-stationary healing area following her around that heals herself and nearby allies. This heal further increases the more you dodge, and can stack up for up to 5 for 30 seconds. For Nemesis at zero advancement, this is your only source of heal, without the presence of advancements, traits and matrices.

Advancements

As mentioned, dodge skills are your only source of heals when you only have one piece of her weapon. However, getting her advancements allows you to deploy heal on top of another.

The first advancement allows you to summon one electrode that actually heals after using Pulse lock or Particle Beam Burst. This unleashes a healing chain for your nearby allies. Your stack of healing chain however will automatically be increased to 5. That means you will be receiving the highest amount of heal without having the need to stack it up by doing 5 dodges.

At sixth advancement, you are given the permission to deploy two electrodes at the same time

Nemesis Trait

Initially, without the advancements, electrodes do not heal. It only deals volt damage over time as long as it's there. However, it changes as soon as you activate Nemesis' trait. Apparently, Nemesis' trait only works for herself. This allows her heal all of her allies within the range upon deploying the electrode (from her discharge).

How to Increase Nemesis' heal?

There are several ways you can increase your heal. This also applies not only to Nemesis, but to other healers as well like Cocoritter and Pepper.

Benediction Resonance

Benediction Resonance increases your healing by 100%, and another 100% if you are in coop or party. This can only be activated by deploying another support weapon alongside Nemesis.

This includes:

  • Cocoritter and Absolute Zero (SSR)
  • Zero and Negating Cube (SSR)
  • Pepper and Staff of Scars (SR)

Increasing ATK and Crit

Nemesis provides ATK, HP and Crit attribute which you will only often see in DPS weapons. It makes sense as these stats that are mentioned increases the damage she inflicts using her attacks and electrodes. But, these stats also influence healing. The more ATK or elemental attack you have, the higher your healing will be. Hence, aside from your overall ATK, increasing your Volt ATK is also necessary. This is especially good if you are using a volt team, as Nemesis along with a DPS can benefit from it all at once. For Nemesis specifically, the increase in ATK you'll be receiving from her advancement will eventually improve her heal.

In addition to ATK, crit also increases your healing. It may not be obvious but heal crits. As opposed to critical strikes from your attack, no crit indicator will be seen on the numbers.

Matrices and Traits

Fortunately, there are traits and matrices that are accessible in the game which will be of help in increasing your heal. Recommended matrices and traits for this specific purpose will be discussed on the matrices and trait section.

Sub-DPS

Nemesis offers atk and crit substats, and her attacks have higher attack multipliers especially her aerial attacks. On top of it, she can apply volt damage while using another weapon using her electrode. Electrode is deployed on the field after using discharge (or even skill at A1), which zaps its target over time. If you're aiming to fully enhance her role as the sub-DPS of the team, getting her advancement is great, unless you're an F2P.

Crowd Control

Last but not the least, Nemesis' crowd control somehow makes her OP especially in PVP. She does not have any stun or immobilizing attacks. All she has is a slow which is essential when fighting against mobile targets.

Aside from the slow from her discharge, one of the greatest parts of her kit is her neutral dash, the Twin Spinning Focus. After pressing shift or dash without going in another direction, Nemesis unleashes a sphere that slows down targets. Ultimately, this attack is effective even against bosses which will help all of your team, especially tanks. Twin Spinning Focus has no long cooldown, which means it can be spammed.

Tower of Fantasy Nemesis Advancements

For a support weapon, it is a surprise that almost all of her advancements focus on increasing her damage and base ATK rather than her healing, weapon charge or HP. Overall, getting her for up to the sixth advancement ramps up your overall damage as a team while also increasing her healing through electrodes.

One star: After using Pulse Lock or Particle Beam Burst, creates 1 Electrode that immediately grants the user 5 stacks of healing chain enhance. In addition, unleash a healing chain that heals nearby allies by 135% of the Wanderer's ATK. It is known that Nemesis' healing only comes from her dodge attacks unlike Pepper and Cocoritter who restores HP through skills and discharge. Nemesis' first advancement however is a must-have as you will receive another means of gaining health over time.

Two star: Increase the current weapon's base ATK growth by 16%.

Three star: Every 6 seconds, the Electrode will unleash Ring Lightning, which deals damage equal to a maximum of 205% of ATK in a target area.

Four star: Increase the current weapon's base ATK growth by 32%.

Five star: After using Pulse Lock, increase the Wanderer's ATK by (6.5 + (Number of Electrodes x 6.5))% for 25 seconds.

Six star: Up to 2 Electrodes can be active at the same time. Summoning more Electrodes will replace the ones furthest from the user.

Tower of Fantasy Nemesis Best Matrices

Matrices Effect
4 pc Nemesis Matrix Set (SSR)2 pc: When a target is being healed, their volt ATK is increased by 8%/10%/12%/15% for 20 seconds. This effect does not stack, and only the highest level's effect is applied when obtained repeatedly.

4 pc: When healing yourself or your Electrode, the target of healing gains a charge of "Lightning". The next attack within 30 seconds will cast lightning upon the target, dealing volt damage equal to 240%/300%/360%/420% of volt ATK, and damage caused by Electrodes is reduced by 50%. Cannot be triggered more than once in 10 seconds. "Lightning" charges do not stack. Only the highest level's effect is applied when obtained repeatedly.

Her own matrix set is currently her Best-in-slot set especially if you have her sixth advancement as it increases you or your allies Volt's attack when healed. Apparently, this is great only if they are using volt weapons, but nevertheless Nemesis' damage and healing will benefit from it. At 4 pc on the other hand, you can deploy Lightning which deals volt damage within thirty seconds.

This matrix set contributes to your overall damage by increasing your volt ATK and applying off-field volt damage, but does not directly improve your healing.
4 pc Cocoritter Matrix Set (SSR)
2 pc Cocoritter: Increase the healing amount and healing effect received by 10%/12%/14%/16%.

4 pc Cocoritter: When you or your teammates are healed, increase ATK by 12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% for 6 seconds.

If you're more inclined to increase your healing with Nemesis and is perhaps using a non-volt weapon on your other slot, 4 pc Cocoritter should be one of your best options. 2 pc Cocoritter further enhances the heals given and received which is helpful in your team's survivability. 4 pc on the other hand, increases their attack for 6 seconds only if they are healed. Cocoritter's 4 pc set resembles 2 pc Nemesis' set, but Cocoritter's is much preferable as it is useful to all elements and not just volt.
2 pc Nemesis Matrix Set (SSR)
2 pc Cocoritter Matrix Set (SSR)
2 pc Nemesis: When a target is being healed, their volt ATK is increased by 8%/10%/12%/15% for 20 seconds. This effect does not stack, and only the highest level's effect is applied when obtained repeatedly.

2 pc Cocoritter: Increase the healing amount and healing effect received by 10%/12%/14%/16%.

Combining Nemesis and Cocoritter's matrix set also produces good results as it grants volt ATK and healing. This improves her role in team both as a sub-DPS and a healer.
2 pc Nemesis Matrix Set (SSR)
2 pc Samir Matrix Set (SSR)
2 pc Nemesis: When a target is being healed, their volt ATK is increased by 8%/10%/12%/15% for 20 seconds. This effect does not stack, and only the highest level's effect is applied when obtained repeatedly.

2 pc Samir: Deal more damage upon hitting a target, each time by 1.5%, up to 10/13/16/20 stacks. Buff stacking time: 2 seconds.

For a more aggressive build, you may opt for Nemesis and Samir's 2 pc set. Both of these aim to increase your damage by amplifying your volt ATK and damage over time. After all, Nemesis also serves as an off-field sub-DPS who can inflict consecutive volt damage to multiple targets.
3 pc Pepper Matrix Set (SR)3 pc Pepper: Increase speed of obtaining weapon charge by 10%/12.5%/15%.

3 pc Pepper is helpful if you are aiming to spam multiple discharge as it grants weapon charge speed increase.

3 pc Frost Bot Matrix Set (SR)
When HP is below 40%, using a discharge skill to switch to the current weapon restores HP equal to 160%/200%/240% of ATK.

Aside from making sure that your teammates are alive and well, it is also your responsibility as a healer to survive on your own. While the rest of your team are doing their respective job, most of the time, they would rely on your presence to restore their missing health. In this case, Frost Bot matrix set can also come in handy as this set will restore your health as soon as it drops down to 40%
3 pc Standard Operation Matrix Set (R)Increase damage dealt by volt weapons by 6%.

Tower of Fantasy Best Nemesis Team

Samir - King - Nemesis

One of the meta teams having attack resonance consists of these simulacra. Aside from the weapon resonance, you receive the volt resonance from having two volt weapons in this particular team. With the increase in Volt attack, rest assured you'll be landing a more serious amount of volt damage on top of another using Samir and Nemesis' off-field attacks. Additionally, increasing your volt damage is not the only reason why you should opt for the volt resonance. As mentioned, Volt Resonance will also increase the amount you can heal for yourself and your allies.

King on the other hand will not benefit from the resonance due to having flame type, but King will be of use in shield breaking and as a discharge DPS. Currently, King has the highest amount of shatter in the game which further increases at first advancement and right matrices. There are other shield breakers in the game but you would want to specifically use King for the Attack resonance as using Meryl or Huma will grant you the balance resonance instead. For shield breaking, however, King's aerial attacks are proven to be more effective rather his grounded attacks. This will introduce conflict as Samir heavily relies on endurance. That said, you will need a bit more time to restore endurance before initiating their aerial attacks.

Meryl - Cocoritter - Nemesis

This team composition is a blessing in coop and a nightmare in PVP. By having two support weapons, you receive the Benediction resonance which increases your healing by 100% and 200% if you are in coop or party. Both Nemesis and Cocoritter shall become your source of healing and crowd control. Cocoritter can freeze her opponents while Nemesis can leave them with decreased movement speed that even works against bosses.

On top of these crowd controls, you can add in Meryl for her discharge ability which creates a circular barrier that keeps all of its targets inside. Meryl is also one of the best shield breakers in the game, and regardless of the resonance you are aiming for, shield breakers are a necessity for faster clears and so as to prevent bosses' from unleashing their special attacks.

Overall, it is a good time but by having no other volt weapon, you'll lose the Volt resonance.

Shiro - Claudia - Nemesis

Volt Resonance is cool and all, but that doesn't mean she's only tied to Volt teams. After all, Nemesis' kit is more than just the resonance. For this team, you will have the physical resonance due to the presence of Claudia and another physical weapon. Shiro becomes the main-DPS and the shieldbreaker of the team. On the other hand, both Nemesis and Claudia serve as the sub-DPS/support/buffer. Both provides damage, while each one of them provides several means of survival; healing from Nemesis and damage reduction from Claudia.

Nemesis - Pepper - Echo

Going for the Benediction team without losing the Volt Resonance is also possible, with the presence of another Volt Support weapon. Fortunately, there is one and she is in fact, easy to obtain. Pepper and the Staff of Scars is a Volt Support weapon that excels at providing heals using skills, discharge and dodge attacks (at first advancement). With the presence of Nemesis and Pepper, rest assured you will be receiving heals over heals as their healing is mostly accessible (dodge attacks do not have cooldowns except for the dodge itself)

Bai Ling - Echo - Nemesis

If Nemesis is your only SSR weapon, fret not as you're still left with more options. You can pick up Bai Ling as your ranged Main-DPS with Nemesis as the healer of the team. For the last slot, you can use Echo's Thunderous Halberd for the shieldbreaking. Running this team simultaneously activates the Volt Resonance due to the presence of Echo and Nemesis' weapons.

Best Relic for Tower of Fantasy Nemesis

Colossus Arm: Summon a colossus arm to battle for 20 seconds. Gain hitstun immunity for the next 20 seconds. Tap the Relic again to cancel.

Normal attacks deal damage up to 1387.7% of ATK and strongly launch enemies. Skills deal damage equal to 453.5% of ATK and strongly suspend enemies. This effect can occur once every 10 seconds.

Confinement: Create an area of confinement with a radius of 7 meters for 10 seconds. Energy pulses within the area, dealing elemental damage equal to 73.4% of ATK every second, based on the current weapon's element. Targets that touch the edge of the area are afflicted with a 2-second stun effect.

Hologram Projector: Project a hologram of the user that synchronously replays the Wanderer's weapon attacks, dealing 35% of the Wanderer's damage dealt. Lasts for 15 seconds.

Couant: Summon a droid and generate a shield for 5 seconds. The shield disappears after 5 seconds or after being struck once. When it disappears, it knocks back nearby enemies, dealing damage equal to 100% of ATK + 50. If broken within 1 second of being created, the shield will stun enemies for 2 seconds.

How to obtain Tower of Fantasy Nemesis

Getting SSR characters and weapons is absolutely rewarding as they can quickly improve your damage and gameplay in general. Aside from better character and weapon design, and fantastic skill animation, these characters provide better stats, higher damage multiplier and even buffs. However, getting one in a gacha game takes luck.

In Nemesis’s case, the only way to obtain her simulacrum and her weapon, Venus is to pull on the Limited Banner in the Special Orders. As the name suggests, the banner only lasts for 20 days from August 11, 2022 to September 1, 2022. If you failed to get her within this time period, save your black crystals or red nucleus and wait for her possible rerun.
