Faycal Quick Guide
The archer of Sword of Convallaria, Faycal - a sole FREE archer in the early game, presents a mixed bag of abilities. While his range advantage is underwhelming, his counterattack skill adds an element of unpredictability. His core gameplay revolves around dealing average damage through and somewhat effective against Destroyer opponents. Unfortunately, his offensive capabilities remain underwhelming overall.
Defensively, Faycal’s weak physique is a significant liability, especially considering his backline position. His Watcher class offers some protection against the Destroyer, but the absence of personal defensive skills leaves him vulnerable to instant kills. On the other hand, Faycal's ability to inflict random debuffs and disrupt enemies with his [The Safeguards Arrow of Convallaria] is commendable. Though, this skill shines particularly in specific terrain only.
Despite his unique debuffing trait, Faycal struggles to find a consistent place in various team compositions. He is primarily a substitute character in both the Sword of Convallaria and Kingdom of Iria teams. His potential is hindered by slow movement speed, poor physique, and a long cooldown on his core skill. While a fully tuned up Faycal can perform well after level 55, his overall limitations make him a less desirable choice compared to other ranged characters.
