LilyWill is a character who has quite a number of interesting tools in her belt, as it were. She is a competent DPS with a bit of utility mixed in.
The trick to getting her to do big damage is building her with lots of Crit and Crit Dmg.
Her primary nuking skill is Arrow of Aeolus - Gale Break, which provides her with [Highland] advantage no matter where she is in relation to the enemy. This skill is best supported by her bringing Windwalking and Marksman, as shown above, but if you have a Vlder-centric team, you can consider swapping out one of those two for her leader aura.
You can opt for her infection-based basic attack, which is easier to use since it’s a curved shot (doesn’t require direct line of sight), but just be aware that [Infection] doesn’t work well on a large number of late-game enemies. Though that does combo well with the Whale Hunter bow, for increased damage (though at 5-star, the bow always provides a stack of [Infection] anyway, so this attack’s usefulness drops off, unless you’re specifically trying to maximize stacks of [Infection]).
Just bear in mind that her usefulness in non-Gale Break turns is lessened (not completely, just not as useful), so try to plan around when she’s gonna be ready to nuke again. Things like Cocoa’s Happiness buff can really help here.
Her unique reaction skill is incredible, as it allows her to avoid taking any damage from the occasional melee attack that might find its way to her, just know that you can’t rely on it working all the time, as it has a 4-turn cooldown.
For gear, you can generally opt either for Star Raid Crossbow or Whale Hunter, but Longbow of Martyrs works well on her, as well. The real question is if you’d rather have the extra Crit or the extra damage. For a trinket, by far her best one is the True Lens for the extra P.ATK and Crit. And her best tarot is definitely Justice, since she really wants as much Crit as she can get. For engravings, you can go with either wand or pentacle + sword, since she really shouldn’t be getting attacked often. When rolling for stats, aim for P.ATK.
