Edda is the absolute support queen, and adds so much to any team she’s placed on. Her basic attack removes two buffs from the target, which is really nice, but the rest of her kit is what makes her shine.
Wine Barrel Casting is an absolute must-bring, as it both slows down the targets and drastically lowers their M.Def within a 3x3 area. The debuff to M.Def can also be stacked with other more common debuffs, meaning she combines well with other debuffers! Plus, it’s an [Instant] skill. In my opinion, this skill alone justifies calling her overpowered!
Her next skill slot should almost always be Guiding Gleam. In addition to the [M.Def III] buff it provides in a 3-tile radius, it also provides [DMG III] (which is insane), [Move I], and also removes disrupt effects! This skill is absolutely busted.
Her final slot can either be given to Take Arms! or to Fortification, depending on your team and/or playstyle, etc. I personally prefer the extra NRG and assist attacks (more on this in a moment) that Take Arms! provides, but Fortification is great for providing easy Highland advantage to allies or, in certain cases, completely blocking off routes (this can be accomplished if it causes a height difference of at least 3 and you put someone on top of the crate).
For gear, Meteor Line is incredible with her assist attacks from her trait, as each one inflicts two debuffs on the target. Longbow of Martyrs has a better debuff, but it only works on active attacks, which isn’t really her niche. Similarly, Disaster Bottle is her best trinket, as it lets her stack more debuffs on the enemy. For tarot, Empress is an excellent option, as it removes debuffs and converts them into buffs on the targets of her buffs. World can be used if you want her skills to refresh faster. However, wand + cup engraving should be able to provide her with enough skill refreshing that Empress is the better overall option. When rolling for stats, aim for P.ATK.
As a side note, you can get her skills that revolve around shield breaking if you need them, but overall she functions more as a support. But she can be used as such if you wish and you have the Castalia to spare.
