Flavia - The Flourishing Sorceress
Overview
Flavia is a nifty character who functions as sort of a Swiss Army Knife, providing numerous different tools that can help your team in a plethora of situations. Because of this, there are actually a number of different skill combinations you can choose to bring, depending on your needs and on the specific content to which you’re bringing her. The build I’m suggesting is the one I believe to be the most useful in most situations, but I will also discuss her other skills/builds in the Additional Notes section below.

Abundance
Trait
Flavia’s trait, [Abundance], is primarily focused around two things: her unique terrain and her unique summon(s). At the start of the battle she both converts all tiles within 2 tiles of her into [Flower Field] tiles (which increase healing received for those standing on them by 15% and are also flammable) and she summons 1 [Thorniflora] (one of the forms of her summon) in front of her. This [Plant Buddy], as her summon is generically referred, has its stats calculated based on 100% of Flavia’s Basic ATK and DEF, and 120% of her Basic HP. Additionally, while Flavia is on the battlefield, her [Plant Buddy] has its ATK and DEF increased by 10-25%, allies on [Flower Field] gain DMG and/or DMG Reduction buffs, and her summons gain double effects from those buffs. At 5-star, enemies on [Flower Field] take 20% more DMG when being attacked by Flavia or her [Plant Buddy].
Skill Recommendations

Verdant Arrow
Basic Attack
For her basic attack, the obvious choice is [Verdant Arrow], which does 90% Magical DMG, and converts the target’s tile into [Flower Field]. This plays into her trait very well, and gives her the ability to create more flower tiles, even if she’s out of NRG.

Lush Vitality
Reaction Skill
Flavia’s unique reaction skill, [Lush Vitality], heals any allies within 3 tiles who are hit by a single-target attack, for 20% of her M.ATK, and she converts their tile into [Flower Field], which can trigger up to 2 times per turn. This skill is the clear choice, as it allows her to keep her allies healthy, while also creating even more flower tiles.

Vital Force
Skill 1
The first skill is one that Flavia will essentially always want to bring: her default skill, [Vital Force]. This skill is actually 3 (technically 4) skills in one. Each of the three main skills is a buff that has a different function, but they each cost 2 NRG and have a CD of 1 turn. The first skills, [Vital Force - Bloom], grants the target [▲ ATK II] and [▲ Crit II] for 2 turns, and (if it targets her [Plant Buddy]), transforms her summon back into a [Thorniflora], which is capable of AoE attacks and doing quite a bit of damage. The second skill, [Vital Force - Nourish], grants the target [▲ M.DEF II] for 3 turns and heals them for 80% of Flavia’s M.ATK. If it targets her [Plant Buddy], it transforms into a [Summiflora], which makes it into a healing-focused character. The final of the three skills is [Vital Force - Shelter], which grants the target a [physical shield] equal to 100% of Flavia’s M.ATK and [▲ P.DEF II] for 3 turns, and if the target is her [Plant Buddy], it will transform into the assisting cover-based [Luniflora]. In the event that her [Plant Buddy] is killed, then, once per battle, Flavia can use a special skill that replaces the aforementioned 3, called [Vital Seeds], which will summon 1 [Thorniflora] nearby. This last skill, however, can only be used once per battle, so some caution is advisable when using her [Plant Buddy]. Overall, this skill is very flexible, and no matter how you wish to use her [Plant Buddy] in battle, you’ll want to have this in Flavia’s kit.

Nature's Protection
Skill 2
For her next skill, I suggest bringing [Nature’s Protection]. This skill, while expensive at the cost of 4 NRG, is extremely useful, and the cost becomes much less prohibitive when factoring in one of her passive skills (which will be discussed in Skill 3). This skill launches an AoE attack on all enemies within 3 tiles of Flavia for 70% AoE DMG, and inflicts [▼ DMG II] on those enemies, and turns all the tiles in that 3-tile area into [Flower Field]. If a target was already on a [Flower Field] tile, this attack also inflicts [▼ Move II] on them. Afterward, the same exact effect occurs centered on her [Plant Buddy]. The sheer amount of flower tiles this creates, as well as the debuffs it inflicts, really set up her summon and the rest of your team to have an advantage over the enemy team.

Breath of Cornucopia
Skill 3
For her final skill, I suggest her passive, [Breath of Cornucopia]. When ending her action on a [Flower Field] tile, this passive heals Flavia for 20% HP, provides 2 random [Level 2 Buffs], and (most importantly) restores 2 NRG, which makes it much easier for her to repeatedly use [Nature’s Protection], if desired. It means that she regenerates 3 NRG per turn on her own, which means she can use it roughly 2 out of every 3 turns, which allows for that much more flower coverage. If Flavia ends her turn NOT on a [Flower Field] tile, she instead converts both her tile and the tile her [Plant Buddy] is on into flower tiles. The goal with this, clearly, is to do your best to make sure she’s almost always ending her turn on flower tiles for the juicy healing, buffs, and NRG.
Equipment
For a weapon, Flavia most wants her Astral Imprint, Life Fondness, for the plethora of buffs it provides the target of her single-target buff skills, and its own unique ATK buff, [Life Fondness]. This weapon will really allow her summon to shine. If, however, you are not inclined to aim for her weapon, then Starry Sky Heritage is your best option, since her summon scales off of her stats at the start of the battle, and Starry Sky Heritage boosts both HP and M.ATK, and the M.ATK boost is the largest one of all the staves. Otherwise, you can opt to use Diffusing Prism, or even Reorganized Cube. For a trinket, Flavia really doesn’t care too much what you put on her, so I prefer a more support-based trinket, such as Old Scrolls of Auguste or a Disaster Bottle. You could opt for an Origin Hourglass, etc., but I would rather save those for true DPS characters who need them, rather than a hybrid character like Flavia who doesn’t necessarily depend on the extra M.ATK to function at her core. For a tarot, you have a number of different options. If you want her heals to be stronger or cleanse debuffs, you can go with Priestess or Empress, respectively. Fortune is always a great choice. Or you could opt for Judgment and its unique debuff and buff removal from enemies. It all depends on how you want to use her, really, and what your team needs. For engravings, I suggest Sword + Wand, though you could go double Sword, for the extra ATK it can provide the summons, but it’s not a lot more ATK in the grand scheme of things, and it would really nerf Flavia offensively, so I prefer the usual Sword + Wand. Lastly, when rolling stats, aim for M.ATK.
Additional Notes
Flavia has a number of other useful skills that need to be discussed here:

Earth's Blessing
Alt. Skill 1
[Earth’s Blessing] is an AoE buff that gives all allies within 3 tiles of Flavia [▲ Move I], immunity to movement debuffs, and the [Earth’s Blessing] buff, which causes them to create [Flower Field] tiles on any tile they cross for 2 turns. This is situational, but can be helpful for creating safe paths through hazardous terrain, or just simply spreading flowers across the world! This skill has a 2-turn CD, but no NRG cost.

Nature's Guidance
Alt. Skill 2
[Nature’s Guidance] is a solid passive that grants Flavia’s [Plant Buddy] 15% extra DMG plus an additional 15% more when it’s standing on a [Flower Field] tile. This is a really easy way to squeeze a decent amount of extra damage out of Flavia’s summon.

Sprout Abundance
Alt. Skill 3
[Sprout Abundance] is a nifty skill that can be targeted on an empty tile within 4 tiles of Flavia, which then unleashes an AoE attack for 60% magical DMG within 2 tiles of the target, converts those tiles into (you guessed it) [Flower Field], and teleports her [Plant Buddy] onto the empty target tile. This can be a great way to set up your [Thorniflora] to wreak havoc in the middle of a group of enemies, or just move your [Plant Buddy] to wherever you need it to be. At 2 NRG, this skill doesn’t cost too much, so it’s a good, flexible choice for most battles.

The One Beloved by Plants
Alt. Skill 4
[The One Beloved by Plants] is a passive that, while Flavia is on the battlefield, increases her [Plant Buddy]’s ATK and DEF by 8% and reduces its DMG taken by 40%. At the end of each of her turns, Flavia converts all tiles within 2 tiles of her into [Flower Field] tiles, and automatically recalls the [Plant Buddy] to her side. This pairs wonderfully with her defensive [Luniflora] summon, as it keeps it close to her to keep her (and probably others) safe with assisting cover. It can be a bit awkward to use, however, if you wish for the summon to operate a bit more independently of Flavia. It’s a good skill, to be sure, but it’s also rather situational.
