Based on the CBTs and also the TW Server, Gloria is definitely as a top-tier character in Sword of Convallaria, boasting exceptional versatility and well-rounded capabilities. Here's a breakdown of her strengths and how to best utilize her in your team composition.
Strengths
- Gloria offers a diverse offensive arsenal with two skill sets, AoE damage (including her normal attack!), and a knockback skill. This makes her a damage dealer with excellent crowd control potential.
- Gloria's Watcher profession grants her strong defenses against Destroyers, further bolstered by reaction skills that mitigate frontal damage and active skills that provide temporary invincibility.
- Gloria stands out with her [Vow of Justice], granting significant bonuses to allies. Additionally, her aura skill offers a unique buff that applies to nearby teammates, boosting their attack, defense, and movement speed. She can even silence enemies with her normal attack when they're injured!
- Both her unique Spear Techniques offer valuable utility. [Spear Technique - Brilliance] provides a potent attack and damage reduction buff for allies, while [Lance of Longinus] allows for remote detonation of explosive barrels, positional blocking, and attack negation. These skills prove particularly effective in high-difficulty content.
Shortcomings
Gloria's primary limitation is the lack of a self-healing skill, other than that she is a great unit to have. To be honest, this is a minor drawback considering her immense supportive capabilities.
