Open Beta Version 0.1.8 Review

The Bazaar is going Open Beta on March 5, 2025 and Reynad is here to review all the upcoming changes! Patch notes will be available soon, but in the meantime check out the video and summary of the changes below.

General Updates

• Free to Play: The Bazaar is going free to play [00:06].
• Prize Pass: A rewards track where you make progress in normal and ranked play, earning collectibles and new content [00:25].
• Expansions: 10-card expansions will be added to heroes, primarily through the prize pass. They can be bought with gems after the prize pass rotates [00:59].
  • Vanessa and Pigmon will receive a couple of expansions [02:04].
• Subscriptions: A separate monetization feature from the battle pass that provides bonus XP, double chests from ranked wins, and monthly exclusive cosmetics [02:30].
  • The first exclusive cosmetic is a Duly game board [02:51].
• Start of Run Updates: Changes to the kit system with three options at the start of a run [03:45]:
  • A pile of gold and some income [05:15].
  • An enchanted item [05:28].
  • A gold tier skill [05:28].
• Cooldown Increase: The cooldown of everything has been increased by 1 second [06:44].

Encounter Updates

• Form: Allows you to upgrade your weapons [08:25].
• Vanessa Updates: Double Barrel damage slightly nerfed, Ice Piit buffed, Port enchantments fixed, and Ram Rod reloads less [08:41].
• Shipwreck: Downshifted to Gold tier and now includes a crit chance effect [09:09].
• Silencer: Obsidian enchantment changed [10:20].
• Pigmon Updates:
  • The All nerfed slightly [10:29].
  • Beast of Burden returns, sharing types of items [10:51].
  • Ledger (formerly Deed) redesign: grows the value of adjacent items when you sell 10 items [11:24].
• Duly Updates:
  • Bunker is now a Shipwreck for shield items and shows up at Gold tier [12:31].
  • Isa Cor Freezer now has a 5-second cooldown and starts at Silver tier [12:51].
  • Robotic Factory downshifted to Gold tier and gives crit chance to friends [13:12].

Other Item Updates

• Citrus and Coconut are food [13:46].
• Claw is faster [13:46].
• Eagle Talisman enchantments are fixed [13:52].
• Fang is faster at 3 seconds [13:52].
• Truffles changed to a loot item that increases the value of your leftmost item when sold [14:11].

Skill Updates

• Lacity and Flurry of Blows were bugged [15:15].
• Red Envelope reworked [15:23].
• Honed Arsenal buffed [15:52].

Monster Updates

• Yan is spawning [16:06].
• Draconic Rage skill enabled for Dragon [16:18].
• Kyver Commander: new day five Monster with a Counter-Strike skill [16:25].
• Scoville: new Burn enemy with jewels items [16:51].
