Event Guide

General Rules

The progress bar will move from right to left. Once it reaches 100%, the challenge will be considered completed.

The HP count is in the same row as the progress bar. If the HP count goes to zero (if you miss any virus or you hit a wall, deplete HP by 1), the challenge will end early and be considered a failure.

Last but not least, the rating bar at the top right. Capture as many virus as you can to increase the rating bar before the challenge ends.

Once you complete a stage/challenge, you will receive EXP (number of viruses killed) to increase the program level (only for the event and unrelated to your player EXP).

The program will provide you with additional buffs such as increased HP, healing items on the stage, and a revival chance.

Stage 1: Recycling

In every challenge, there will be all sorts of viruses. Some of them filled up to 3 TVs while some of the virus only filled up to 1 TV.
> What you need to do is tap/hold the W or S button to move up and down and catch the virus data. If the virus data overlaps with the character before it leaves, it will be considered a successful data collection. Collecting data allows you to earn points and increase your rating (at the top right)
> Tips: Virus data with a longer shape can be acquired by touching any part of it.

All stages have easy (Surface) and hard (Depth) mode. In the hard mode, overload batteries will occasionally appear.
> Picking up an overload battery will activate Overload mode. In this mode, you will be invincible and can resist any form of HP reduction (including bashing a wall).

You can see the timer for the Overload mode below the rating bar. Remember to keep a watch on the timer so you won't be surprised when it suddenly ends and lose control of your character.

Stage 2: Programs

Starting in stage 2, wall obstacles will start to appear. You will encounter wall obstacles in different areas, and you need to avoid them. Hitting them will reduce your HP. But as mentioned before, entering Overload mode in the hard mode allows you to bash through the wall without losing any HP.

Stage 3: Network

In stage 3, the new addition is the speed zones. After crossing the speed zone, the following viruses will increase in speed. The number of arrows indicates the level of speed increase.
> Tips: There will be a moment when you move super fast after stepping on the speed zones. Don't panic and focus on avoiding all the wall obstacles. Remember that there will be healing items from time to time so losing a bit of HP is no big deal.

Stage 4: Database

Starting in stage 4, there will be impulses (or in easier words, laser beams). There will be a short warning period before they form. If you fail to dodge them in time, your HP will decrease.
> Notes: The game is a bully and they often let out a warning of impulses on the lane where a virus is nearing. But don't worry because once the laser beam has just finished firing, you still have a window to move and get near the viruses.

Stage 5: Core

There is nothing new at this stage. What you will face here is the combination of all the viruses and obstacles in the previous stages.
