Team Recommendations
First Half
Recommended Elements: Imaginary & Wind
The most important character here would be either Pela or Luocha (or any characters that can remove enemies' buff) to handle the Disciple boss' Vigor Draining buff. As long as that buff is available, it will make your life harder because he will keep healing.
Second Half
Recommended Elements: Quantum
Quantum is the best element here because all the dangerous enemies are weak to Quantum. Unless you have a strong single-target DPS like Seele, it's recommended to bring Blast/AoE DPS because the Frigid Prowler in the second wave often summons more soldiers.
Observation
First Half: Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter & Voidranger: Trampler
- Start the battle in the first wave with a Wind attack. Then, once the boss summons 2 Mara-Struck soldiers, you either (a) Weakness Break the boss as fast as possible or (b) use a buff-remover character like Pela or Luocha. There's also (c) where you defeat the 2 summoned soldiers but that will waste lots of your rounds.
- Just remember that if you Weakness Break the boss, he will still have that Vigor Draining buff - where if it hits your characters, it will drain your HP and recover itself, but in the meantime, you should be able to defeat him first, or maybe your Blast character can take off the mobs first.
- If you bring a single-target DPS, I recommend you focus on the boss first before the 2 Mara-Struck Warden. There are also the 2 Alchemist that accompany the boss right from the start, but they are not a priority (in my opinion).
- The Alchemist can inflict Spur of Thunderwoe (debuff) on your character. If the Alchemist dies with the debuff still affecting your character, the enemy will explode and deal Lightning DMG to the said character. Those damages are nothing to laugh at either (especially if your characters are squishy or have low HP). However, you can remove the debuff using a cleanser or take it like a champ before healing your character using a healer.
- In the second wave, there are 2 enemies. Similar to the first wave, focus on the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus: Shape Shifter and Weakness Break him as fast as possible (even better if you can do it before he can summon any Mara-Struck Soldiers). But if he did, you know the drill - which is following the (a), (b), or (c) methods mentioned above.
- The one ability you need to be careful of from Voidranger is Spiral Arrow, which locks onto a single target. Then, in the next action, it will deal massive Quantum damage to that locked character. Make sure you have a Shield on the targeted character so they can survive or you can use Taunt to redirect that attack or just have a high HP.
Second Half: Frigid Prowler & Guardian Shadow
- In the first wave, start the battle with Quantum attacks. As you can see, there are many enemies in the first wave. Focus on the 2 Everwinter Shadewalkers because their attacks can delay your character's action. In addition, make sure the Mr. Domescreen (the TV) is in the Surprise Channel state before its next turn. If you didn't know, it has 2 channels and you can switch the status by attacking it:
- Surprise Channel: Regenerates Energy for a random target.
- Fright Channel: Deals minor Quantum DMG to all targets (your team) and causes all targets to lose Energy.
- After the 2 Shadewalkers are down, focus on the Guardian Shadow. Guardian Shadow has 3 types of Ban skills: Ban on using Basic ATK / Ban on using Skill / Ban on attacking the Guardian Shadow. If you don't heed those Bans, she will immediately attack your character that breaks the rule (Retribution).
- In the second wave, focus on the Frigid Prowler first because it can summon more enemies + increase its ATK so you should take it out first before the others.
- Remember that this big boss has a high chance of inflicting Deep Freeze debuff on your characters. For each stack of Deep Freeze, the character's ice resistance will be reduced by 20%, and their speed will be reduced by 12%.
- If you stack up to 3 layers of Deep Freeze, your character’s Ice resistance will be reduced by 60%, and the attacks will turn from being hit by a motorcycle to being hit by a truck. You can remove this buff using a cleanser like Natasha and Luocha's skill! - Or you can take it like a champ.
