Skill Review

EX Skill

Starting things off, we have Moe's EX Skill, which deals damage to enemies in a rectangular AoE and inflicts Burn. This skill allows Moe to shine in Chesed P1 since it is centered around dealing with large groups of enemies. Note while this skill has a DoT effect, it has a low damage multiplier and lasts for 20 seconds. This is mainly catered towards niche situations such as JFD.

Basic Skill

Moving onto Moe's Basic Skill, it deals damage to 5 enemies and applies a Stun effect. This skill adds to her AoE capabilities while adding some utility alongside it. However, it is too infrequent to be relied on only triggering every 40s. In addition to this, the Stun only lasts for 1.6 seconds at max level and should not be relied upon in HOD.

Enchanced Skill

Moe's Enhanced Skill provides a boost to ATK. We recommend raising this skill after Sub Skill. As it helps her reach damage thresholds in Chesed.

Sub Skill

Lastly, Moe's Sub Skill boosts the team's ATK stat. Another straightforward but welcome effect to boost the team's damage output. We recommend raising this skill before Enhanced and Basic Skill.

Gameplay Progression

Early game: Moe shines during the early stages of the game, as it is centered around dealing with waves of enemies. Note that Moe has relatively low damage in the early game, which makes it difficult for her to finish off enemies with only 1 EX Skill. In addition to this, there are also several AoE Piercing students available, so she may not always be your first pick.

Early game alternatives:

Students listed here are only some of the notable options available.

Late game (High Investment): In the late game, Moe has one main use case for raids Chesed. She is usually brought into the team as an AoE damage dealer for phase 1. Being a Special student can go a long way when team building, if you need/want an additional Striker student. In addition to this, she provides a teamwide ATK buff, allowing her to find usage in raids outside of Chesed for extra teams.

  • Minimum Required Investment: 3*
  • Skill Leveling Priority: Sub > Enhanced > Basic

Conclusion

Overall, Moe is a strong AoE damage dealer that still finds usage to this day, but with Piercing being an oversaturated damage type, there are other alternatives available. However, she stands out by being a Special student, which can be important for Chesed Torment P1, where you will most likely have multiple damage dealers in the team. Making teamwide ATK buff more appealing than the usual Single-Target buffers like Ako and Himari.

How Much Should I Invest?: 3*, this is usually enough if your goal is only to clear ins Chesed, but if you plan on clearing tmt, having UE40 can help meet the damage threshold needed to clear out mobs in phase 1.

Should you pull on her banner?: No, there are several F2P alternatives available for a Piercing AoE damage dealer.
