Who is Charlotte?

Charlotte Roselei is a character in the anime and manga series "Black Clover." She is the captain of the Blue Rose Knights, one of the nine squads of the Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights. Charlotte is a skilled magic user, specializing in Briar Magic.

In the series, Charlotte initially struggles with her feelings for Yami Sukehiro, the captain of the Black Bulls, as her squad has a rivalry with his. She has a curse that activates whenever she feels embarrassed or experiences romantic emotions, causing her face to turn into that of a cat. Despite her initial reservations and the comedic aspect of her curse, Charlotte is a powerful and respected Magic Knight.

As the series progresses, Charlotte's character undergoes development, and her strength and determination make her an important figure in the Clover Kingdom's defense against various threats.

You can choose between a speed set or a max HP set. Running a max HP set has its advantages, such as a higher barrier based on her max HP. The trade-off is a slight decrease in speed. The preference is for the speed set due to its effectiveness in ensuring she goes first and gets more rotations.

Skills and Passives

Charlotte's skill one provides a special point increase to a unit with the highest attack power, making it incredibly powerful for DPS units. Skill two offers a two-point special point increase to a chosen ally and applying a Status Ailment Immunity to herself with her Skill Page equipped. Her ultimate provides AOE support, granting a 54% damage reduction, strengthen effect, and a level three defense penetration to allies with the highest attack power. Additionally, her partner skill gives a 100% barrier of her max HP for two turns. Her unique passive grants an 80% max HP barrier to all allies at the start of the battle if they have the Sense attribute.

Talents

Given her higher physical attack stat, the attack boost isn't crucial. I suggest a 2.5% rate up to five times per wave and a 7% increase in physical attack.

For the defense and crit resistance part, go for the 4% defense and 2% crit resistance, up to five per wave , along with a 5% increase in max HP for stronger barriers.

In the HP talent node, choose the 10% damage reduction and pair it with a 20% chance of a set skill for a solid setup. You can opt for a plus one special point increase if you have less than two special points.

I personally recommend the 20% chance to reset skill. This setup strikes a good balance, considering her flexibility with kits and abilities.

Team Composition

Charlotte is a support-type unit offering multiple roles, you can essentially create any team you want around her. But if you do want to build off her LR (plus two) and her regular passive, creating a full mono-green team like this would work exceptionally well.
