Eight titles, including one highly acclaimed Metroidvania puzzle game, will be leaving the PlayStation Plus service over the next few weeks. New titles are added for PlayStation Plus subscribers every month, but quite a few are removed to make more space.

Here are the titles being removed as of April 2025:

Animal Well is leaving PlayStation Plus in April 2025

The pixel-Art Metroidvania is one to grab before it's gone

Animal Well made serious waves upon release, garnering over 18,000 overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam alone. Fans were blown away by the uniqueness of the Metroidvania, as there is no combat throughout the game whatsoever. Mostly revolving around storytelling and exploration, it was something almost brand-new to the genre that players found both refreshing and engaging.

Others praised the title for the intricate puzzles and secrets just waiting to be revealed around every corner. This is one PlayStation Plus subscribers should give a shot if they have yet to do so.

Alongside Animal Well, seven other titles will be leaving the PlayStation Plus catalog, including Slay The Spire. The roguelike deckbuilder is yet another title that garnered a massive amount of positive attention upon release back in 2019, currently holding over 153k reviews on Steam.

Newest titles to hit PlayStation Plus as of March 2025

For those wanting to dive right into something new, a plethora of games are already rolling out onto the platform to replace the ones leaving in April. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is already available for PlayStation Plus Essential members, alongside Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.

With so many games to choose from as a PlayStation Plus member, it's hard to try every game out before it's gone for good. However, it does constantly give players something to look forward to, and they might just find their new favorite title in the process, which is a win-win.
