Role 1: DPS

It's recommended to avoid building a DPS Noelle if she's not [C5+].
Noelle DPS is best optimized at [C6] where she converts an additional 50% DEF into ATK. Her ability to sustain her team with shields, heals and AoE damage makes for a reliable DPS when your team is built around her.

Talent Priorities

Normal Attack > Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill

1 / 2 Targets: N1>N2>N3>N4>dash/hop
This isn't always feasible due to cast time (as well as knockback issues).

Multiple Targets: N1>N2>N3>dash/hop

With Redhorn, using Charged Attack can become more effective. While spinning, opening and closing either the map or adventurer's handbook once will allow you to bypass the 5 second restriction.

1) Redhorn Stonethresher (ATK: 542 • Crit DMG: 88.2%)

DEF is increased by 28/35/42/49/56%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased by 40/50/60/70/80% of DEF.

2) Serpent Spine (ATK: 510 • Crit Rate: 27.6%)

Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 6/7/8/9/10% more DMG and take 3/2.7/2.4/2.1/1.8% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.

Note: When using Husk of Opulent Dreams, Serpent Spine stacks are prioritized over Husk of Opulent Dreams stacks due to their conflicting nature in gaining stacks (Off-field and on-field).

3) Skyward Pride (ATK: 674 • Energy Recharge: 36.8%)

Increases all DMG by 8/10/12/14/16%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80/100/120/140/160% of ATK as DMG to opponents along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.

Note: Useful if you are unable to get ER from your substats. Does really well while its passive is active, but falls off in sustained fights. Comfort option that can lose to a high refined Whiteblind with stacks.

4) Whiteblind (ATK: 510 • DEF: 51.7%)

On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks increase ATK and DEF by 6/7.5/9/10.5/12% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.5s.

1) Marechaussee Hunter

2-Piece Bonus: Normal and Charged Attack DMG +15%.
4-Piece Bonus: When current HP increases or decreases, CRIT Rate will be increased by 12% for 5s. Max 3 stacks.

Note: Optimal for personal damage by a few percentage points when paired with Furina.

2) Husk of Opulent Dreams

2-Piece Bonus: DEF +30%
4-Piece Bonus: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s. When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s.
Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

Note: Noelle snapshots her DEF on burst cast. To get the full 4 stacks' DEF% boost during your first burst, you need to wait 12 seconds off field before swapping in. In abyss, time spent before the chamber starts still generates stacks.

3) Retracing Bolide

2-Piece Bonus: Increases Shield Strength by 35%.
4-Piece Bonus: While protected by a shield, gain an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG.

Role 2: Driver

Generally optimal when running multiple off-field DPS like Yelan, Xingqiu or Fischl. Instead of focusing on her own damage (but not neglecting it), Noelle takes a supportive role with Archaic Petra to buff her team, while still taking advantage of her AoE and strong defensive utility.

Talent Priorities

Skill > Normal Attack = Burst

*Dependence on Skill's talent level depends on your total DEF and whether Furina is on the team or not.

1) Favonius Greatsword (ATK: 454 • Energy Recharge: 61.3%)

CRIT Hits have a 60/70/80/90/100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12/10.5/9/7.5/6s.

2-Piece Bonus: Geo DMG Bonus +15%
4-Piece Bonus: Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard created through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain 35% DMG Bonus for that particular element for 10s. Only one form of Elemental DMG Bonus can be gained in this manner at any one time.

Constellations

Best Constellations: C1, C2 & C6

C1: I Got Your Back
While Sweeping Time and Breastplate are both in effect, the chance of Breastplate's healing effects activating is increased to 100%.

C2: Combat Maid
Decreases the Stamina Consumption of Noelle's Charged Attacks by 20% and increases her Charged Attack DMG by 15%.

C3: Invulnerable Maid
Increases the Level of Breastplate by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

C4: To Be Cleaned
When Breastplate's duration expires or it is destroyed by DMG, it will deal 400% of Noelle's ATK of Geo DMG to surrounding opponents.

C5: Favonius Sweeper Master
Increases the Level of Sweeping Time by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

C6: Must Be Spotless
Sweeping Time increases Noelle's ATK by an additional 50% of her DEF.
Additionally, every opponent defeated during the skill's duration adds 1s to the duration, up to 10s.
