Gameplay Tutorial

Each stage in the Dance of Resolute Will includes two battles. Lineups must be decided before the challenge. both parties must share a character, while all other characters can only be used once.

During the challenge, complete Blade Dance objectives to receive Heightened Verve. While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Once this buff expires, it can be obtained repeatedly by completing Blade Dance objectives again.

Dance of Resolute Will

Stage 1 - Drumbeats in the Mountain

Heightened Verve Buff

When a character triggers the Crystallize reaction, a Stone Shockwave will be unleashed at their location, dealing AoE Geo DMG and resonating with nearby Geo constructs, releasing Stoneshard Shockwaves which deal AoE Geo DMG. The effect can be triggered once every 2s, and each time it is triggered, up to 2 Stoneshard Shockwaves can be produced.
While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Blade Dance Objectives

Round 1: Trigger 15 Crystallize reactions on opponents
Round 2: Defeat 6 opponents while protected by a shield
Important: You need to complete these objectives to activate the Heightened Verve buff above. But don't forget that each round has different objectives so pay attention and read properly.

Monster List

Party Setup Recommendation

Round 1: Navia + Bennett + Xiangling/Fischl + Geo Character
Round 2: Navia + Yelan/Furina + Xingqiu + Geo Character
In both rounds, Navia is a great character as she can trigger Crystallize with her Geo attacks. The most important thing is she needs to have other elements in the team (Electro/Pyro/Hydro/Cryo). Crystallize also generates a shield so you can complete the objective in round 2 too.

Stage 2 - Rending a Wall of Fire and Thunder

Heightened Verve Buff

Character gains 50% Pyro/Electro DMG Bonus. When a character triggers a Pyro or Electro-related reaction on an opponent, a Cyclone will be created at the opponent's location, pulling in nearby opponents. The Cyclone lasts for 5s. This effect can be triggered once every 6s. While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Blade Dance Objectives

Round 1: Trigger 15 Overloaded reactions on opponents
Round 2: Trigger 20 Pyro- or Electro-related reactions on opponents

Monster List

Party Setup Recommendation

Round 1: Raiden Shogun + Chevreuse + Bennet + Xiangling
In the first round, it's imperative that your team can trigger consistent Overload since it's the objective to activate the Heightened Verve Buff. That's why it's better if you only include Pyro and Electro in the first team.
Round 2: Raiden Shogun + Yae Miko/Fischl + Kaedehara Kazuha + Nahida
The second round is much nicer since the objective is to just trigger any Pyro or Electro-related reactions, not constricted to Overload. The team compositions for this round are much more universal, as long as your DPS is Electro or Pyro. If you don't have enough characters to make another Overload Team, focus on one main element only out of the two (Like how I focus on Electro in this team).

Stage 3 - Piercing Frost Snapshot

Heightened Verve Buff

Every 2s, an icicle will fall on opponents affected by Cryo, dealing Cryo DMG.
While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Blade Dance Objectives

Round 1: Freeze opponents for a total of 15s
Round 2: Inflict 25 Critical Hits on opponents affected by Cryo

Monster List

Party Setup Recommendation

Round 1: Ganyu + Wriothesley + Shenhe + Jean/Charlotte
Round 2: Ganyu + Furina + Kamisato Ayaka + Sangonomiya Kokomi
If you want to activate the Heightened Verve buff, then add Mono-Cryo to the first round as all enemies are Hydro-afflicted creatures and you don't need Hydro in the team anymore.

Round 1: Furina + Nilou + Nahida + Baizhu
Round 2: Furina + Kamisato Ayaka + Ganyu + Kazuha
This team is if you couldn't care less about the Heightened Verve buff (like me) and use the Nilou Bounty Bloom team in the first round. Since all enemies are Hydro, all you need to do is activate Nilou's Skill and use Nahida + Baizhu to trigger Bloom. If Baizhu isn't enough for healing, you can use Furina's Pneuma Skill to heal the active character aka Nahida. Just remember to use Nilou's Skill again whenever it expires so you can create Bounty Bloom instead of normal Bloom. This team will get you more points than the previous team (for me at least).

Stage 4 - Song of Returning Tides

Heightened Verve Buff

When the current active character receives healing, a Torrential Shockwave will be unleashed at their location, dealing AoE Hydro DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 2s.
While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Blade Dance Objectives

Round 1: Increase or decrease character's current HP 40 times
Round 2: Trigger 20 Hydro-related reactions on opponents

Monster List

Party Setup Recommendation

Round 1: Furina + Nilou + Nahida + Xingqiu/Baizhu
Since the round's objective is to increase or decrease characters' HP, Bloom would be the best reaction as it will drain your HP super fast. But don't forget to watch out for your HP and equip a suitable healer (use Furina's Pneuma Skill if you have to) so they won't die after Nilou's Bounty Bloom explodes the heck out of your HP.
Round 2: Furina + Neuvillette + Raiden/Fischl/Yae Miko/Kuki Shinobu + Yaoyao/Dendro MC/Collei

If you have Neuvillette, definitely bring them to the second round as one of his Charged Attack can defeat one whole wave. If you have proper rotation, you can spam his Ult + Charged ATK easily resulting in a high score. For my rotation: Raiden's Skill > Furina's Burst and Skill > Yaoyao's Skill > Neuvillette's Burst, Skill, and Charged ATK 3x > Repeat. If you have better rotations, feel free to use them.

Stage 5 - A Vibrant and Lively Melody

Heightened Verve Buff

Every 6s, rain will fall in random areas near the character, applying the Wet effect in an area. Each spell of rain lasts for 5.5s. When a character uses their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, a Wildgrass Shockwave will be unleashed at the character's location, dealing AoE Dendro DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 3s.
While Heightened Verve is active, different opponent types will spawn, and defeating them will net you more points.

Blade Dance Objectives

Round 1: Defeat 6 opponents affected by Quicken
Round 2: Generate 20 Dendro Cores

Monster List

Party Setup Recommendation

Round 1: Nahida + Kuki Shinobu + Xinqiu + Kazuha || OR || Neuvillette + Furina + Nahida + Kuki Shinobu/Flex
If you have an Anemo CC, it's a good idea to bring them here because there are too many enemies here and they might move away from each other. So having Anemo CC to gather all of them at the same spot + Swirl reactions, it's a win-win for you.
I'd also put a second team in Round 1 above (Neuvillette) because his Charged ATK has super huge AoE that you don't need an Anemo CC. But this team will have a hard time triggering the Heightened Verve buff here (which in my opinion is a great bargain; Neuvillette's raw DMG > Heightened Verve buff).
Round 2: Nilou + Nahida + Kokomi/Xingqiu + Yaoyao/Baizhu
In this round, there are not as many enemies in each wave as in the first round. However, there are Rifthounds here that often teleport to behind you or whatever. I recommend using the (Nilou) Bloom team as the explosion of the Dendro Core has enough AoE to cover all enemies in the vicinity.
