Genshin Impact: The Lone Isle Named Night Quest Guide

There is a locked gate northeast of Ochkanatlan. Inside the gate is a Pyroculus and by opening the gate, you will also unlock a hidden quest. Follow this guide to complete the puzzle in this small island and uncover the secret!

How to Complete the Puzzle Northeast of Ochkanatlan

The puzzle is located in a small island northeast of Ochkanatlan. Once you reach there, you can see the circle-looking item (called Ancient Inscribed Ring) on top of the gate. You need to make sure all the semi-circle parts moves to complete the circle before using Iktomisaur's power to scan them.

First, teleport to the only waypoint on this island. In front there, indwell an Iktomisaur and use its power to scan the Ancient Inscribed Ring until a triangle symbol appear in the middle.

After that, you will be shown with 3 switches in different part of the island. You need to go to all of these switches and activate them.

Activate the first switch

For the first switch on the south of the island, you need to defeat the enemy spawned. See the moving headlight? If you are under the headlight, the Pyro orb on the right will attack you. Although the damage is so-so, your character will get knocked-back.

Activate the second switch

For the second switch on top of the island, currently at your previous spot, indwell an Iktomisaur and scan the graffiti on the wall. Place the Nightspirit Bodies on the ground to spawn a wind current.

Use Iktomisaur to float to the platform that will act as an elevator and bring you further upwards.

Once you're half the way, Paimon will mention more climbing. Use Iktomisaur once again to jump high to the top of another elevator.

Simply start the switch once you reach it.

Activate the third switch

From the previous spot, look northwest and float down gently until you reach the last switch. For this one, all you need to do is avoid the moving headlight so the Pyro orb won't attack you.

How to Start The Lone Isle Named Night Quest

Once you activated all 3 switches, go closer to the Ancient Inscribed Ring and scan using Iktomisaur's power until a triangle symbol appear to unlock the door.

Enter through the door and go downstairs to find a Saurian egg. Now, all you need to do is read the Ancient Diary to the left and activate the switch near the egg to complete the quest and get an achievement [Perhaps We've a Long Road Ahead of Us…]
