Wanderer Team Compositions

Wanderer is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst character that primarily plays the role of a Main DPS.

You can find some popular team compositions and builds below, as well as recommended team rotations!

Hypercarry

The purpose of a Hypercarry team is to have every character dedicating their abilities to supporting Wanderer. This team typically contains Faruzan and Bennett, Wanderer's two best support characters. Below is an example of a Hypercarry team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, Faruzan as the Sub DPS, Zhongli as the Shield, and Bennett as the Healer / Buffer.

Alternate Hypercarry teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Faruzan - Yelan / Xingqiu - Bennett
• Wanderer - Faruzan - Yun Jin - Bennett
• Wanderer - Faruzan - Furina - Bennett

Freeze

A Freeze team is beneficial for Wanderer as it allows him to attack freely by immobilising his opponents. This team requires at least one character who can apply consistent Hydro, and at least one character who can apply consistent Cryo. Below is an example of a Freeze team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, Yelan and Rosaria as the Sub DPS', and Kokomi as the Healer.

Alternate Freeze teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Xingqiu - Rosaria - Barbara
• Wanderer - Ayato - Ganyu - Jean
• Wanderer - Layla - Shenhe - Kokomi

Triple Anemo

Triple Anemo focuses on causing Swirl DMG and keeping opponents in a close proximity. Faruzan and Bennett apply invaluable buffs and inflict consistent off-field DMG. Below is an example of a Triple Anemo team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, Faruzan as the Sub DPS, Kazuha as the Support, and Bennett as the Healer.

Alternate Triple Anemo teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Faruzan - Jean - Bennett
• Wanderer - Faruzan - Venti - Bennett

Vaporize

Vaporize teams can be very powerful, especially when you use the National rotation of the strongest 4-star characters. Below is an example of a Vaporize team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, Xiangling and Xingqiu as the Sub DPS', and Bennett as the Healer.

Alternate Vaporize teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Yelan / Xingqiu - Xiangling - Thoma

Double Geo

Double Geo allows you to inflict consistent damage with Wanderer spending most of his time on-field. The Geo support characters typically have rather low on-field times. Geo structures generate energy for Wanderer and cause damage to opponents. Below is an example of a Double Geo team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, Fischl and Albedo as the Sub DPS', and Zhongli as the Shielder.

Alternate Double Geo teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Albedo - Zhongli - Bennett

Hyperbloom

Wanderer can assist your typical Hyperbloom team by generating more elemental reactions through Swirl. Below is an example of a Hyperbloom team that includes Wanderer as the Main DPS, and Nahida, Fischl and Xingqiu as the Sub DPS'.

Alternate Hyperbloom teams could have a composition of:

• Wanderer - Dendro Traveler - Fischl - Xingqiu
• Wanderer - Nahida - Raiden Shogun - Yelan
