Genshin Impact: How to Complete A Hero’s Rite Puzzle

A Hero's Rite is the second part of the "Scions of the Canopy" Tribal Chronicle. This quest has a 'confusing' puzzle so this guide is to help Travelers to go through it!

How to Start A Hero's Rite Quest

After completing [A Mysterious Visitor From Huitztlan], you can continue with [A Hero's Rite] also in the "Scions of the Canopy." This quest has a confusing puzzle but actually pretty easy to understand. It relate to the Yumkasaurus' skill below:

The whole puzzle 'All-purifying Sacred Flame' consist of Yumakasaurus skill. By pressing E, it can use its Skill to move forward.

The Skill can also be used to grab the Flamegranates and throw it to cause explosion. This is the skill you will be using to complete the puzzle.

All-purifying Sacred Flame Challenge

When you first start the challenge, indwell a Yumkasaurus and get near the brazier to obtain the kindling.

Next, turn around to the north and pick up the Flamegranates using Yumkasaurus' Skill (tap E). Once you get it, throw it towards the Abyssal filth (the glowing purple ominous aura). You can throw it more precisely by holding E so you can aim where to throw the Flamegranates. This will destroy the filth and ignite the brazier (1/6).

Follow the quest navigation until you reach the second brazier. This time, just get near it and the kindling you pick up at the start of the challenge will automatically ignite the brazier (2/6).

Look to the right of the second brazier and you will see a Flamegranates. Pick it up and walk to the quest navigation for an Abyssal filth. Throw the Flamegranates to remove the Abyssal filth to clean them and go to the next brazier.

Keep moving forward and there will be another brazier covered in Abyssal filth. There's a Flamegranates just behind the brazier so do your thing (3/6).

Walk toward the navigation once again and you will see two Abyssal filth. There's a Flamegranate to the left of the brazier (circled in the image above) so pick it up and throw it to the filths to remove them and ignite the brazier (4/6). Defeat the Rifthounds too while you're at it. Don't worry if you're out from the Yumkasaurus, you can indwell it again afterward.

Go to the fifth brazier and let the kindling lit up the brazier.

Lastly, ignite the last brazier near Trinidad. Since there's no Abyssal filth there, the kindling will lit up the brazier. After that, talk to Trinidad and you will complete the quest.
