Genshin Impact: Righteous Resistance Achievement Guide

There is one achievement hidden inside Fatui research facility where they are experimenting on Saurian. We shouldn't let that slide now can we? That's why we're about to infiltrate their facility and rescue all the Saurians. Along the way, we can unlock a new map, get an achievement, and also a Luxurious Chest. Truly a win-win for us!

How to Complete Righteous Resistance Achievement

First of all, teleport to the waypoint northeast of Ancestral Temple and head northeast where you can see a trapped Saurian. From there, keep following the path deep inside until you reach Extraction Research Center: Passage.

Once you reach a lava area with a locked gate, go back a little bit to where you just defeated a Fatui. Inside the chest is a key to unlock the Saurian Cart. Use the key to free the Yumkasaurus. You need their ability to unlock the gate.

Go on top of all the pillars there and use their Skill to fetch the Replica "Relay Balls".

Then. throw the Replica Relay Ball to the metal platform just before the locked gate. This will unlock the gate and you can go further inside the facility. Inside this gate is a huge Fatui mechanism that you need to disable to complete this hidden task. But to do that, you need 2 Replica Relay Balls.

Replica Relay Ball #1

Go further inside the facility (there's a lot of Fatui here so go ahead and wreak havoc) and you can see something is burrowing underground. Catch it to reveal a Tepetlisaurus.

The Tepetlisaurus will reveal a removable Grappling Hook. Take it and install it on the box near the Replica Relay Ball.

Now, indwell a Yumkasaurus and pull the box until it is directly under a gate (look in the image above).

Finally, you can take the Replica Relay Ball from the metal platform and place it on one of the metal platforms beside the huge mechanism. This will cause a new gate to be unlocked (there's a cutscene so you'll know what gate I'm talking about). Go inside that gate for the second Replica Relay Ball.

Replica Relay Ball #2

Head inside the new gate and indwell a Yumkasaurus that was prepared for you there.

Use the Yumkasaurus Skill to fetch the Replica Relay Ball inside the cage hanging on the cave. The door for the gate is already opened so there's no puzzle here.

Go back to the top of the stairs where you indwell a Yumkasaurus and go further for another metal platform (Yumkasaurus can also climb stairs for a short moment so just climb and don't use Skill or the Relay Ball will disappear). Throw the Replica Relay Ball on the metal platform to unlock the gate.

Go past the unlocked gate and turn around to get the Replica Relay Ball (The door will be locked again but no biggie).

Place the second Relay Ball on the metal platform beside the huge mechanism.

Interact with the mechanism twice to disable it and defeat all the incoming Fatui (hold on for 1 minute) to complete this whole task.

After lots of fighting with the Fatui (and with the help of the Saurian), you will get the achievement [Righteous Resistance] and a Luxurious Chest.
