Genshin Impact: Tale of Dreams Plucked From Fire Quest Chain Guide

Tale of Dreams Plucked From Fire Chain Quest has 2 parts and you can complete them back-to-back. In the depths of some searing ruins, you meet a young woman. Search for the legendary "elixir that can cure all injuries" with Chikya. This quest takes around 15-25 minutes if you skip the dialogues.

How to Start Tale of Dreams Plucked From Fire Quest

Teleport to the S7 near Ameyalco Waters and look south for the ruin with an opening so you can get to the underground area. Go inside there and keep walking until you see a young woman. Talk to her and you will start the quest - Tracer No Tracing.

Tracer No Tracing Quest

For your first task, follow the quest navigation to head deeper into the ruin until you reach a locked gate. After that, turn around and indwell a Koholasaurus (or use Mualani's Skill).

Swim across the lava and interact with the Unveiling Scripts. Attack the Unveiling Scripts (left-click button on PC). After receiving it, go back to the Phlogiston Engraving and there will be an option to Activate. Then, the locked gate will open half-way but you can still walk through. Go through the gate and bring your Koholasaurus from before because you'll need to use it before (unless you have Mualani).

When you reach the next area, there will be 2 Iridescent Beams. You need to get close to them before you can shut it down. For the first one, it can be reached with your character.

But for the second one, you need to indwell Koholasaurus or use Mualani's Skill to stand on top of Jet-Set Eddies so you can jump higher and reach the beam. After you close both Iridescent Beams, investigate the mechanism in the center.

Now, you need to find 2 Unveiling Scripts, which you can find just by following the quest navigation. Once you find both scripts, go back to the mechanism in the center and activate it.

After this, ride the Spiritway back to ground level using Koholasaurus or Mualani's Skill. Just jump onto the Spiritway and you're good to go. When you arrive on top, you will complete this quest and get the next one automatically.

Seeker No Finding Quest

For the first task of the subsequent quest, head to the Upper Sanctum the same way as before. There's a Koholasaurus icon nearby and you indwell them if you don't have Mualani.

At the Upper Sanctum, you need to make a round to all the floating islands. For the second island, investigate the flower to generate a wind current so you can glide over. There, you will find an Iridescent Inscription. Interact with it and on to the third island we go.

To head to the third island, you need to defeat the group of Anemo Slimes so you can dig the ground for an Anemo Amber. Same as before, find an Iridescent Inscription. After that, just follow the quest investigation for the last challenge.

For the last challenge, you need to navigate through tons of Spiritways. This time, you can control your direction to switch Spiritways (Control your character to move left and tap Space to jump). A new island will emerge and you will land there and wrap up the quest.
