Celia is a Magic Dark Support who specializes in applying chains and reducing enemy power. These utilities make her a mainstay in our endgame PvE mode Fiend Hunt.
▸ Chains |
---|
Chains are applied whenever an attack hits an enemy, and multi-hit skills apply multiple chains. Each chain increase damage taken by a unit by 10% (a unit with 5 chains applied on them will take 50% more damage). This damage increase is multiplicative with other modifiers. Chains are capped at 100 in all modes, except for Last Night where it isn't capped at all. |

Strengths and Weaknesses
+Celia is the best chainer in the game, requiring very few dupes in order to do her job.
+With dupes, her skills become very potent for mitigating damage in Fiend Hunt.
-Masquerade Bunny is a limited costume, and without it, Celia is much worse at chaining.
-Quite expensive to use, especially for content outside of Fiend Hunt.
Costumes
Celia currently has three costumes. The Curse and Descendant of the Great Witch both apply chains and debuff either ATK or MATK (they also shred either DEF or MRES with potentials), while Masquerade Bunny gives herself a buff that doubles her chain utility.

The Curse is recruitable in the pub's rotating pool, and in Infinite Reroll.
This costume has the highest base chain count in the game, applying 7 chains in a pattern. On top of that, she also debuffs the ATK of enemies hit. The debuff isn't too important (but is potent at +2 at least), so she works fine at +0, but +3 is a very nice upgrade because of how expensive she is.
Celia isn't a proper DPS so her DMG upgrades aren't important. The shred is nice to have but isn't too important since it's only 10%. The cooldown reduction is also not too important unless you need a 100% uptime on the debuff for some reason. It does however make her rotations a bit more flexible for Fiend Hunt.
Key Upgrades: Design +3.

This costume is almost the same as The Curse, just that she debuffs MATK and shreds MRES on her potential instead. This costume also only applies 5 chains compared to The Curse's 7. Other than that, all the points on The Curse also apply to this costume.

This costume is Limited, tied to winter events.
This costume is really important for Celia, as it enables her to double her chain application on the succeeding turn(s). Keep in mind that this is a self-buff, so it only applies to Celia (and it only applies to this specific costume in Last Night).
With this costume, The Curse is capable of applying 14 chains, while Descendent can apply 10 chains. This is really strong in Fiend Hunt, where you want to be hitting a lot of tiles to multiply your damage.
+1 gives her a much needed SP reduction, and +4 increases her buff duration to 6 turns. The latter isn't mandatory, but it does help her in some Hunts that have 2 consecutive nuke turns. The damage on this costume is better than on the others, but Celia really isn't a proper DPS, so no need to chase after the DMG upgrades.
Key Upgrades: Design +1 and +4.
Building Celia
Celia really isn't a priority to build since she's a support. Simply give her 90 RES and she'll be fine. If you still want to build for her damage, however, keep reading below.
Terra Concealer
Exclusive Stat — 67 MATK
This exclusive accessory isn't really important, since Celia isn't much of a DPS. The fact that this piece can't roll CDMG main stats also make it unusable in PvE. It's pretty good in PvP if you're using her there for some reason.

Simply use Masquerade Bunny for DMG since these bonds have more offensive stats in the Dark DMG. If you don't have this costume, either of the other two are fine, the only significant difference is the DEF and MRES.
