Venaka is a Magic Wind DPS who also doubles as the best MRES shredder. The fact that she shreds before dealing damage makes her a menace in PvP, and her base costume solidifies her spot in every wind team.

Venaka currently has two costumes. Wind Dancer is a DPS costume that also applies to enemies vulnerability to Wind attacks, while DJ is a DPS costume with full uptime MRES shred utility.

Costume Designs

Wind Dancer Venaka can be recruited in the pub's rotating pool.

This costume is simply a must-have for wind teams, giving up to 150% vulnerability in a square pattern. This has 100% uptime, unlike what other AoE vulnerability debuffers provide, and does not have any conditions like Beachside Angel Teresse does. On top of that, this costume buffs itself (the vulnerability is applied before damage) and DJ, making Venaka a great DMG dealer on top of having amazing support utility.

Key Upgrades: Design +1 and +3, Skill Potential 3, DMG Upgrades add up.

Costume Designs

DJ Venaka has really high damage rivaling other top DPS units, making her great in PvE content. On top of that, she also shreds MRES for 50%. What's special about her is that she shreds before dealing damage (most other units apply debuffs after their first hit), which makes her damage difficult to resist.

In PvP this is especially relevant since there are very few units that can survive this skill (buffed by Helena), examples being Seir with her damage reduction, Idol Granhildr with 110 MRES, and Lathel with 140 MRES.

At +1, she works perfectly well as an MRES shredder (get skill potential 2 for the cooldown reduction), but she'll want those damage upgrades if she wants to perform as a DPS. The range upgrade significantly makes her better.

Venaka has slightly different gear depending on whether you're using her in PvP or PvE.

Both bond potentials have the same amount of offensive stats, so either will work. DJ allows you to have a more balanced substat spread, while Wind Dancer can take better advantage of gear full of CDMG substats.
