Liatris is a Physical Fire DPS that specializes in DoT related skills. On top of being able to deal tons of damage, she is able to do so in large AoE's, while stacking lots of chains in the process. There is no doubt that if you're looking for a Physical Fire DPS to invest in, she is currently the best option.
Check out my other Character Guides:
Strengths and Weaknesses
+Liatris has the largest AoE skills among the fire DPS units.
+Liatris excels in longer fights where she can get her DoT damage in, which ends up dealing more damage than her peers.
+She is a decent chain stacker, with two of her skills stacking 5 chains in a large AoE.
-Does not see much play in Mirror Wars.
-You may require invested defensive gear and/or defensive utility in said longer fights.
-Other than chain stacking, Liatris does not have any other utility.
Costumes
Liatris currently has 3 costumes. Rodev's Star and Neon Stalker are both DoT applying skills, while Maid Name R is an AoE nuke that is amplified against enemies afflicted with any DoT.

Rodev's Star is Liatris's base costume, recruitable in the pub of Story Pack 8. If you have already recruited Diana from Story Pack 10, recruiting Liatris next is a great decision.
This is a highly regarded costume, given its massive AoE. Skip square patterns are really good, since it can be used to quickly wipe the floor versus weaker encounters. It has really good damage once you get a dupe or too. This costume however is quite expensive, so you either want to somehow get +3, or unlock her second skill potential.
Key Upgrades: Skill Potential 2, Design +3, others are nice to have.

Neon Stalker is simply a cheaper, adjusted version of Rodev's Star, with slightly more frontloaded damage, less DoT damage, and a different pattern. This costume is capable of hitting a full lane in most scenarios.
This skill tends to be inferior to Rodev's Star, even though it's cheaper, since skip square is usually a much better pattern. This skill however is a really good follow up after using Rodev's Star, to stack a second DoT on surviving enemies. It's also worth having this costume just for the bond potentials.

Maid Name R is a massive AoE nuke, putting her far above her peers in the damaging department. While technically this isn't the highest damage fire skill, her massive AoE more than makes up for this. On top of that, this skill only costs 3 SP at +0 given that you unlock her first skill potential. A 3×3 AoE nuke is ridiculously strong, especially when the only condition can be fulfilled by her other costumes.
Applying a DoT with her other costumes first may be a bit slow, but with enough investment, you may not even need the conditional boost to defeat minor enemies. In this case, you will only have to worry about applying a DoT on elite enemies, which can be fulfilled by other cheap options, such as a knockback unit.
Key Upgrades: Skill Potential 1 and 2, others are nice to have.
Building Liatris
Since Liatris is primarily used in PvE modes, we can simply use gear that optimizes her ceiling damage.
Lunar Piercer
Exclusive Stat — 14.99% Crit Rate
Correct Main Stats — ATK + CDMG
This exclusive weapon is nice to have for extra consistency, but ultimately does not provide a damage increase compared to the craftable weapon.

- | - |
ATK | 52% |
HP | 17% |
Fire DMG | 30% |

CDMG | 47.2% |
Use Maid Name R for general PvE, and Neon Stalker if you want a slight edge against wind enemies.
Optimal Build [PvE]

Optimal Substat Spread (Assuming BBS Refinements) — 7 ATK% substats + 8 CDMG substats
Due to the fact that Liatris gets tons of ATK% from her potentials, Prime Authority ends up becoming her best gloves. Crit Rate substats are nice to have, but do not improve her damage ceiling. Build either DEF or MRES depending on the enemies you're facing.
