Skill Rundown

Autolysis

Trigger: Any unit has the Counter state.

If you're using Blade in your team, trigger C1 at the start of battle to reduce the Fiend's DEF to 0.

Hunting the Fiend

C1/C2C3 ×3 → S1 → S2 → S3

Trigger C1 (physical) or C2 (magic) at the start of combat, depending on the damage type of your carry, which brings the fiend's resistance to 0. Physical teams that aren't using Blade may want to either use Sylvia as the trigger (off-element), or Elise as an alternative for DEF shred (forgoing C1 altogether).

Afterwards, trigger C3 3 times, using a barrier or energy guard skill. Anti-Dystopia Diana is the most natural trigger for this, and the skill cooldown reset from C3 means you don't even need Diana's cooldown reduction in +4. Top Idol Helena also easily triggers this skill for magic teams, but you will need to weave in S1 and S2 between C3 triggers to keep her MATK buff up.

New Hire Seir is amazing for this Fiend Hunt, taking 30 hits from the Fiend from C3 alone, giving your entire team a massive DMG buff.

DPS Review

Blade
Luvencia
Eleaneer
Rou

Blade (×8 AoE) — This Fiend Hunt was made for her, as Apostle abuses the 10 hit C3 of the Fiend, which can trigger thrice. Young Lady applies vulnerability to the Fiend's head, which massively buffs Apostle's counter damage. You will want Young Lady's range potential for this Fiend.

Luvencia (×5/×8 AoE) — Luvencia will require a counter or DEF shred from another unit to deal with the Fiend's DEF, but Luvencia's high damage output means that she should be fine against this Fiend.

Eleaneer / Rou (×4-5 AoE) — Eleaneer and Rou may struggle in this Hunt, requiring a DEF shred ability in another teammate, while also having mediocre tile coverage. You may be able to combine Eleaneer 20% and Celia's 10% DEF shred potentials for a total of 30%, but you will still feel the 20 remaining DEF from the Fiend.

Eclipse
Nartas
Celia

Eclipse (×10 AoE) — Decent magic option for this Fiend Hunt, being able to hit both weak points with Nightmare Bunny.

Nartas (×10 AoE) — Surprisingly, Nartas is the best magic carry for this Hunt, having access to both weakpoints like Eclipse, but since this Fiend is physical, Nartas's DMG goes through the roof. C3 resetting cooldowns means that Nartas can spam his skill for tons of damage.

Celia (×8 AoE) — Great subcarry while also being a chain stacker to trigger C2.
