Arataki Itto is a Geo damage dealer who deals damage mainly using his Charged Attacks.

Arataki Itto is a Geo damage dealer who deals damage mainly using his Charged Attacks.

His Normal Attacks and Elemental Skill grant him stacks of Superlative Superstrength. He can use this effect to unleash consecutive Arataki Kesagiri slashes, continuously dealing a high amount of DMG against his enemy. In his Elemental Burst state, he will able to increase his damage output.

This guide is based on the Community Character Builds by the Genshin Helper Team.

Skills Overview

Normal Attack: Fight Club Legend

Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 consecutive strikes.
When the 2nd and 4th strikes hit opponents, Itto will gain 1 and 2 stacks of Superlative Superstrength, respectively.
Max 5 stacks. Triggering this effect will refresh the current duration of any existing stacks.

Additionally, Itto's Normal Attack combo does not immediately reset after sprinting or using his Elemental Skill, "Masatsu Zetsugi: Akaushi Burst!"

Charged Attack
When holding to perform a Charged Attack, Itto unleashes a series of Arataki Kesagiri slashes without consuming Stamina. Instead, each Arataki Kesagiri slash consumes 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength. When the final stack is consumed, Itto delivers a powerful final slash.

If no stacks of Superlative Superstrength are available, Itto will perform a single Saichimonji Slash.

Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.

Superlative Superstrength, Max Stacks

Elemental Skill: Masatsu Zetsugi: Akaushi Burst!

Hurls Ushi, the young akaushi bull and auxiliary member of the Arataki Gang, dealing Geo DMG to opponents on hit.
When Ushi hits opponents, Arataki Itto gains 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength.

Ushi will remain on the field and provide support in the following ways:

  • Taunts surrounding opponents and draws their attacks.
  • Inherits HP based on a percentage of Arataki Itto's Max HP.
  • When Ushi takes DMG, Arataki Itto gains 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength. Only 1 stack can be gained in this way every 2s.
Ushi will flee when its HP reaches 0 or its duration ends. It will grant Arataki Itto 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength when it leaves.

Hold
Adjust throwing angle.

Ushi is considered a Geo construct. Arataki Itto can only deploy 1 Ushi on the field at any one time.

Elemental Burst: Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil!

Time to show 'em the might of the Arataki Gang! For a time, Itto lets out his inner Raging Oni King, wielding his Oni King's Kanabou in battle.
This state has the following special properties:

  • Converts Itto's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks to Geo DMG. This cannot be overridden.
  • Increases Itto's Normal Attack SPD. Also increases his ATK based on his DEF.
  • On hit, the 1st and 3rd strikes of his attack combo will each grant Arataki Itto 1 stack of Superlative Superstrength.
  • Decreases Itto's Elemental and Physical RES by 20%.

The Raging Oni King state will be cleared when Itto leaves the field.

Ascension 1: Arataki Ichiban

When Arataki Itto uses consecutive Arataki Kesagiri, he obtains the following effects:
Each slash increases the ATK SPD of the next slash by 10%. Max ATK SPD increase is 30%.
Increases his resistance to interruption.
These effects will be cleared once he stops performing consecutive slashes.

Ascension 4: Bloodline of the Crimson Oni

Arataki Kesagiri DMG is increased by 35% of Arataki Itto's DEF.

Passive Talent: Woodchuck Chucked

When a party member uses attacks to obtain wood from a tree, they have a 25% chance to get an additional log of wood.

Talent Priorities

Normal Attack > Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill

Arataki Itto is a Geo DPS Character who takes advantage of his Elemental Burst's ATK boost and Geo infusion to deal significant damage during its uptime. His combos involve stacking and unleashing his Charged Attacks, named Arataki Kesagiri.

Arataki Kesagiri consumes no stamina and can be cast continuously as long as he has Superlative Superstrength stacks. Superlative Superstrength is capped at 5 stacks at any given time, and Itto gets those stacks when his 2nd and 4th Normal Attack string hits an enemy.

Activating his Elemental Burst allows his 1st and 3rd Normal Attack to also generate stacks. Itto's Elemental Skill deals damage to enemies on cast and summons a taunt, Ushi, which is considered a Geo Construct. This initial cast damage grants Itto 1 Superlative Superstrength stack, and upon Ushi leaving the field, Itto is granted another stack. When Ushi takes damage, Itto gains a stack (capped at 1 stack per 2 seconds). Itto's Elemental Burst converts his Normal and Charged Attacks into Geo DMG, increases Itto's Normal Attack Speed and converts a portion of Itto's current DEF to ATK.

Recommended Weapons

  1. Redhorn Stonethresher (5✩)
  2. Serpent Spine (4✩)*
  3. Skyward Pride (5✩)*
  4. Whiteblind (4✩)*

1) Redhorn Stonethresher (ATK: 542 • Crit DMG: 88.2%)

DEF is increased by 28/35/42/49/56%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased by 40/50/60/70/80% of DEF.

2) Serpent Spine (ATK: 510 • Crit Rate: 27.6)

Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 6/7/8/9/10% more DMG and take 3/2.7/2.4/2.1/1.8% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
Note: When using Husk of Opulent Dreams, Serpent Spine stacks are prioritized over Husk of Opulent Dreams stacks due to their conflicting nature in gaining stacks (Off-field and on-field).

3) Skyward Pride (ATK: 674 • Energy Recharge: 36.8)

Increases all DMG by 8/10/12/14/16%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80/100/120/140/160% of ATK as DMG to opponents along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.
Note: Can be a great or bad weapon for Itto depending on your ER needs. The less Energy Recharge you need (due to particle generation from your party members or ER from subs), the less useful this weapon becomes.

4) Whiteblind (ATK: 510 • DEF: 51.7)

On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks increase ATK and DEF by 6/7.5/9/10.5/12% for 6s. Max 4 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.5s.
Note: Your rotations often start with 1 stack of this weapon, and due to Itto's Burst snapshotting DEF on cast, you're unable to take advantage of further DEF% from the stacks.

Recommended Artifacts

  1. Husk of Opulent Dreams (4)
  2. Desert Pavilion Chronicle (4)
  3. Retracing Bolide (4)*
  4. Husk of Opulent Dreams (2) / Archaic Petra (2) / Emblem of Severed Fate (2) / Marechaussee Hunter (2) [Choose Two]

1) Husk of Opulent Dreams

2-Piece Bonus: DEF +30%
4-Piece Bonus:
A character equipped with this Artifact set will obtain the Curiosity effect in the following conditions: When on the field, the character gains 1 stack after hitting an opponent with a Geo attack, triggering a maximum of once every 0.3s.
When off the field, the character gains 1 stack every 3s. Curiosity can stack up to 4 times, each providing 6% DEF and a 6% Geo DMG Bonus. When 6 seconds pass without gaining a Curiosity stack, 1 stack is lost.

2) Desert Pavilion Chronicle

2-Piece Bonus: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%
4-Piece Bonus:
When Charged Attacks hit opponents, the equipping character's Normal Attack SPD will increase by 10% while Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will increase by 40% for 15s.
Note: The 2-pc set bonus is obviously a bad bonus for Itto but we're looking at the 4-pc bonus.

3) Retracing Bolide

2-Piece Bonus: Increases Shield Strength by 35%
4-Piece Bonus:
Gain an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG while under the protection of a shield.
Note: This set grants you an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG when shielded. Crystallize can be unreliable so a consistent shielder is preferred, such as Zhongli.

4) Husk of Opulent Dreams (2) / Archaic Petra (2) / Emblem of Severed Fate (2) / Marechaussee Hunter (2)
